Just as well butchers get up at the crack of dawn because sleeping in a room 24°+ is a none starter! Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the amazing weather, your bbqs and picnics.

We're open at 7am and you may find us standing in the walk in fridge for no reason at all!

No dog ever died from missing one walk🚨

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it's definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don't go out.

😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎It’s the weekend and a nice long one too. Hope you are all ready to keep your fur babies cool. We have a new supply of cooling beds, mats and coats. Please walk your dogs early or late and keep them out of the sun. Make sure there is plenty of water for them and don’t throw balls for them to chase (easier said than done in some cases). Remember a dog has never died from not having a walk. We are open till 5 today, 4 Saturday and we will be closed on Monday. Have a great weekend. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Meet Roxy and Brownie!

This mother and daughter duo are still looking for their forever home together and we’re not entirely sure how they haven’t been snapped up yet.

Roxy is 3 years old and Brownie is around 18 months.

These 2 girls are an absolute pleasure to have in our cattery, and, although being a little shy, they do enjoy a good stroke and lots of attention.

They would like a quieter home where they can build their confidence in their new environment, while eventually having access to go outside.

Brownie is definitely the more confident of the 2 but Roxy has come on in leaps and bounds in their time with us. Anyone who takes them does need to be ok with the fact that they will go back a little bit in their new home before their confidence is able to grow.

It’s well past time for these 2 lovely ladies to have a forever home to call their own.

Good morning. Dose your dog eat too fast? We have some new wobble bowls in stock. Give their meals out of it, use it to put treats in, or spread their raw, wet food or pate in. Reduces anxiety and great for mental stimulation. We have also had a new delivery of frozen food all freezers full to the brim. We are open till 2 today and back open Thursday 9-5.

How gorgeous do Hattie and Holly look after their pamper morning at Saltwell Bark dog groomers. Thanks for another lovely cut. No rest for them though morning off means working late, out and about delivering tonight. Wearing the Ancol travel and exercise harness with built in straps for the seatbelt to fit through. Available in the shop in various colours. We are back open 9-2 Wednesday. Have a lovely evening.
