***** I’ve just found out that Deadman’s Corner is likely the name for the bend in the lane. It was on West Hanningfield Road, past Baddow Park Estate. My son-in-law saw them this evening at 8.20. Two men were standing in the middle of the road and when he looked up at them they stepped aside. Clearly targeting women. He said they were Eastern European.
With the permission of one of our clients I want to make you aware of a very serious incident. Please please drive with your car doors locked at all times. The police aren’t sure whether they wanted the female driver or the car but this is very frightening. She believes the vans had Irish number plates…..
“Sorry to message so late, my eldest has just driven home along Hanningfield Road towards where she lives nearby. Just along from Deadman’s corner she was stopped by a group of men. They lined up in the road so she couldn’t pass and tried to get into her car. They told her to get out of her car which thankfully she didn’t and she eventually managed to drive through them. She’s very shaken up and has called the police. I just wanted to ask if you hear of anything happening to let me know. There were 3 white ford transit vans and 2 ford focus, one white and one red. Bloody f***ing men, who the hell do they think they are, she was so scared xx”
