More than just a dog, Stitch was a true legend—our hero, loyal companion, family counsellor, and mentor to Rupa. With his gentle spirit and unwavering presence, he touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Even Jason, who never wanted a dog, grew to love Stitch dearly and unconditionally. Their bond was quiet but deep, built on trust and affection. My own love for Stitch could never be put into words. It is boundless, instinctive, and eternal.
He inspired me to become a dog groomer, guiding not only me but also many students through their exams. His playful and loving nature shone brightly when he starred as Toto in two stage performances, bringing joy and laughter to the stage.
Stitch was deeply adored by Anja, Rudy, and Lino, and he loved them just as fiercely. A steady and loving presence, he helped shape their childhoods in unforgettable ways, walking alongside them through many milestones and bringing reassurance, happiness, and loyal companionship every step of the way.
This post is dedicated to Stitch, who truly deserves all the recognition. He enriched this world for 16 years and 8 months, carrying himself with grace and dignity until dementia finally caught up with him. Strong and able-bodied until the very end, he remained the hardy little Terrier we all adored.
Now, he’s joyfully reunited with his best friend Floyd, the Labrador, who has been patiently waiting for him in doggy heaven along with his many friends, including Jackpot the Dachshund.
