Dorothy continues to heal well following her leg amputation...
I cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and generosity towards the hedgehogs.
You guys have been amazing !
I however didn't realise the fees that these fundraising sites charge! If anyone would prefer to do a direct transfer I will put the details below .... if you already have donated .... thankyou! If you cannot donate ..please share ... as always, I really appreciate all of your help in helping me to help the hedgehogs...

Dorothy .... just look how lovely she's healing !... she's recovering and coping extremely well with only 3 legs!
She really is a trooper this girl!

Had a good night tonight... from left to right....
These 3 were released and regained their freedom!
The little hog that was found under someone's bed, she's put on some weight and no obvious complaints...
Rumi, found very dehydrated and had a heavy burden of lungworm , all better now....
And Gracie from mere, fell from quite a height off of a wall, luckily this cheeky chap bounced!
Stay safe you lot , and for goodness sakes, stay out of trouble!! 🤦‍♀️😅🦔❤️🦔💙

Here she is folks! Our brave little tripod! Dorothy!
What a trooper she's really been.
The operation went well with special thanks to Karen at Bellevue vets who performed the surgery , and what a nice , neat job 😀
There's only 1 more thing to get over ... the anesthetic..
Since she's come round from her operation, she hasn't eaten ! And this girl LOVVEEESSS her food!
So if she hasn't touched her hedgehog buffet by morning, then I'm afraid it'll be a feed from me ( not literally!) Via syringe to remind her how hungry she really is! 😅🙏🦔.
Cmon Dorothy... we got this!

UPDATE.... DOROTHY IS HOME !!! ALL WENT WELL!! SHES JUST RESTING QUIETLY NOW, THANKYOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR KIND WORDS OF SUPPORT!

Please everyone , keep Dorothy in your thoughts tomorrow ,
We have an early start with drop off at the vets , first thing in the morning , ready for her operation.
I know she'll be fine, she's in the best care over at Bellevue vets, they are fantastic. But I can't help but worry about her xx

Not very good photo, but this little girl snuck into someone's house through an open door, climbed the stairs, and decided to make her home in the bedroom!
After a couple of sleepless nights and failed attempts to capture her, the homeowner managed to get someone to help. * me!
I found the hedgehog asleep under the bed!
Keeping her overnight just to be sure she's ok....
I don't think there's any harm done except to the carpets!!

So those of you who got it right ....
Dorothy has a dislocated hip and a fractured leg down by her foot causing her leg to swell.
We believe that this injury is old and has fused back together and is causing her alot of pain.
She is booked in Monday morning to have the leg amputated by the wonderful Karen at Bellevue vets.
Being a lovely , healthy hedgehog otherwise, we have agreed that she will cope much better without that leg.
God only knows how she's survived all this time with her injuries and she's a really good weight , weighing 923g.... she certainly is a trooper so we think she deserves a chance.
