Great news! I've talked today with Aberdeenshire council Trading Standards, and so glad to let you all know I can open again next Monday. If you have been in contact with or show any symptoms of covid 19, please don't come to your appointment. Let me know as soon as you can and we will reschedule. Unfortunately Diamond Dogs will be temporarily closed due to us being in another lockdown. As soon as I hear of any changes/date to reopen I will let you all know. I'll be in touch with everyone with appointments to reschedule when I have a reopening date. Take care.

Hi, glad to let all my lovely customers know I am reopening on Monday 1st June. I have been very busy getting things organised so i can safely groom your lovely pooches in my salon. I will be in touch with you all at some point next week to discuss your grooms and make appointments which will be prioritised to most needed first. There will be new procedures in place for dropping off/picking up your dogs. I will explain the changes in detail when I contact you. I will be taking the necessary precautions in the salon to protect myself and you by following government advice and guidelines.
1. On arrival remove your own collar and lead and then use provided hand sanitizer before putting on the slip lead provided and tie your dog to the new drop off/pick up point. Knock on door and then wait behind the 2m guideline on the ground. If there is still a dog tied to drop off point please wait in your car or out front, keeping to social distancing guidelines until owner arrives to pick up their dog.
2. We will agree on a time for picking your dog up. Knock on your arrival and wait behind the 2m guideline on the ground. REMEMBER to bring your collar and lead back with you! Please be on time!
I will discuss you dogs groom and how to make payment when I contact you next week.
VERY IMPORTANT
If you or any member of your household have any Covid-19 symptoms, please do not come for your appointment. Another appointment will be made when it is safe to do so.

Lock down has been extended again so I can't reopen until it is safe to do so. I will get in touch with you all individually about appointments when I'm working again. Hope you are keeping up with brushing and keeping your dogs matt free. On top of brushing, try and keep their eyes clean. Use a cotton pad with warm water and gently cleanse. A flea comb is good for removing gunk from corners of eyes, being very careful. Keep their bottoms nice and clean too! Also, keep an eye on their nails. If they don't like getting their feet touched, if you can, get a family member to distract them with their favourite treat. Again, there are lots of videos out there that can help you with these things or feel free to call or message me for advice. Hope you are all keeping well. Take care. 🐾🙂

As we don't know how long our business is going to be closed, it is so important we keep up with brushing our dogs at home. A good slicker brush and comb is a must along with a conditioning or
Dectangle spray. Always go over with your comb after brushing. You should be able to comb through to the skin. There are lots of videos and information online on how to brush and comb your dog properly, and you can always get in touch with me if you want advice. Hopefully we will get back to normal in the next few weeks, but until we do please keep brushing! Best wishes to you all and take care. 🐾🙂

After government announcement on TV tonight, Diamond Dogs will be closed for at least the next three weeks, as from now. The situation will be reviewed in three weeks time. I will let all my loyal customers know as soon as I know when we will reopen. We have to do what we can to keep our families and our selves safe and well. Thanking you all for your loyal custom and look forward to seeing you all again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Take care.
