Looking forward to heading back to the woods for walks this morning. Spent all evening washing everything that was covered in dog p*e 🤮. Girls are easy, but boy dogs make everything a p*eing competition. Be nice to have my garden back and smelling nice again.

For some reason, common sense eludes some people and this needs to be shared every year. Dogs pant to cool down. If they are walking around with a ball in their mouth (even if you are not actually throwing it), it makes them unable to cool themselves and they will overheat more quickly. By the time your dog shows signs of heatstroke, it is often too late to save them. Please be responsible. Your dogs rely on you to keep them safe.

We tried to stay mostly in the shade, but they did have a little run about before I called a timeout and had them drink some more water in the shade.

Heatwave means one thing here at Walshie's HQ.......pool parties!!
Spent the last 2.5 hours getting everything ready for the morning. Sweating and exhausted before I even start my exercise class tonight 🥵
Today was about the limit of what I call acceptable/responsible to walk with dogs. Let's keep safe and cool for the rest of the week.

Our little Tedaroo just likes to run laps around the perimeter. I would love to put a pedometer on him. I bet he does more steps than any of the other dogs.

Taking full advantage of not having "The toy destroyer" with us today. Camera work is awful, as I am usually point it in one direction, while checking on the other dogs over one shoulder.

All my dogs were excited to see me after the long bank holiday weekend. This big yellow boy is always the most excited to see me 💛 (although, I think he is just excited to go walking with his buddies, I am just the taxi driver!)

Happy Easter to all my customers. That's me finished with group walks until Tuesday, but I will be doing my holiday visits throughout the weekend. Please remember to keep all chocolate away from dogs. We don't want any poorly pups over the bank holiday weekend. See you all on Tuesday.

Second group of the day. They spent the first half of the walk grazing like cows and the second half running around like crazy things. In case anybody is wondering - No, Atlas never gets tired 🤣.
Atlas, sorry I had to use my big bad voice, but safety comes first.
