A little Dougal update.
Unfortunately he stalled in recovering so had bloods done a couple wks ago. These came back as a bit anemic & an unhappy liver. Scans & samples taken the next day of which his 💩 came back with blood in it = a little bleed from somewhere in the gut. New meds to help coat his gut & he has been a little happier since being on them. More bloods/tests = some not so normal results. Another couple of weeks with more medication & if little or no improvement then leaves us with getting a biopsy of his intestine & maybe his liver to get more of a definite answer. He's lost just short of 4kg in weight & losing his hair again. Of course its the case of spaniel brain says yes but body say nope 🤦‍♀️

Our Story

My name is Heather and I started Heather’s Dog Walking in August 2015. I have 3 rabbits and Lab x Retriever called Otis who we puppy walked and rehomed from Guide Dogs. He joins me on lots of the group walks. I have also owned a Giant African Land Snail and guinea pigs.

I have worked and volunteered at Guide Dogs in Forfar since 2011 and have experience both in Guide Dog Kennels and as a Puppy Walker.

I have an NC, HNC and HND in animal care and am disclosure checked with all relevant insurances. I am Insured with Protectivity.

Dog walking is available in Forfar, Glamis and Kirriemuir areas. Weekdays and weekends. Pet sitting in your own home is available puppies, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs etc... Overnight stays in your home may be available for puppies and dogs. Text or send a message through Facebook 1hr solo walk £10** 1hr group walk £8** 1/2hr walks £6** Discount for if multiple walks are needed in a week. **Additional dogs from same household +£3 Pet sitting visits from 7:00am-9:30pm. (In your own home) Puppies and dogs - up to 1/2hr £5 1hr £10 Cats - £5 per day Rabbits and Guinea pigs - £5 If multiple visits are required during the day/week then other visits may be charged at a discounted price. Overnight stays in your own home for puppies and dogs may be available. Times are usually from about 6pm - 8:00am unless stated at a consultation. £40
