Quick update!!
Don’t forget the price increase of £2-10 per dog is now in effect - this applies to everyone.
My books get super booked up as it gets warmer, please book in advance to avoid disappointment .
We all know it’s getting warmer so let’s be prepared!! Last minute appts are a rarity.
**During heatwaves - if your car has no air con, please reschedule your appt, your dog will not suffer a bit longer without being groomed but heat stroke is life threatening and only takes 10 minutes to happen. It’s not worth risking. If you have breeds with flat faces, are elderly, young, overweight, or super anxious, I will likely reschedule you if it’s too hot, as they are higher risk. My priority is always health and welfare of your dog. If your dog comes to me heavily panting or signs of heatstroke, I will not groom them!**
FLEAS - please keep up to date with flea treatments, the flea charge is £15 if your pet comes in with fleas. This puts others at risk of catching them. It’s simple to do and avoids so much hassle on my end. **Note - treatments in high street shops are not strong enough and don’t work. Please get treatments from a vets or I use a herbal powder called billy no mates that has worked wonders for my dogs**
As it’s getting hotter, grass seeds are rife!! These can be an expensive vet bill if tangled in your dog’s fur, please inspect them thoroughly all over after walks, to avoid them.
Also, can all owners ensure their dog has emptied their bladder and done their no2s before coming in!! I have way too many dogs coming in urinating and defecating. I’ve spent a lot of money and time on my lovely salon and really don’t want it getting ruined.
