If we’re melting, imagine the dogs… 🥵🐶
For tomorrow (and most likely Friday too), we’re making a few heatwave swaps:

🚶‍♀️ Morning walks → Happening earlier to beat the heat
🏠 Afternoon walks → Swapped for pop-in visits (water, shade & belly rubs)
❌ Active day care → Cancelled — the sun’s the only one partying today! 🌞

Keeping every dog safe, cool, and comfy is our top job.

It’s been a tough week for us at 4 Paws Walks, as we’ve had to say goodbye to one of our all-time favourites — the wonderful George 🌈

We’ve had the absolute privilege of walking George for nearly 8 years, and in that time, he became so much more than just a client’s dog — he was a friend, a gentle soul, and a true good boy in every sense.

George left his paw print not just on our hearts, but on the hearts of so many dogs and people who met him. He brought joy, calm, and a quiet yet sometimes clumsy charm 🥹 that will be missed more than words can say.

He was deeply loved, and always will be!

The forecast for tomorrow is looking cooler — with even a chance of rain, which is a welcome change!

We’re planning to go ahead with our regular walking schedule. As Wednesday is your usual service day, please just confirm that you’re happy for the walk to go ahead as normal. If you'd like to make any changes or cancel, just let us know.

🌡️ Important Weather Update from 4 Paws Walks 🌡️

With temperatures expected to soar to a sweltering 33°C, we've made the difficult decision to cancel all walks and daycare services on Monday to keep your pets safe.

🐾 Short 30-minute visits are still available where absolutely necessary — please contact your walker directly if your pet will be home alone and needs a check-in.

☀️ Top tip: Walk your dog early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the heat and reduce the risk of heatstroke or burnt paws.

Thank you for understanding — your pet’s well-being always comes first. 💛
