We admit, we are nowhere near perfect, but we try our utmost to make our products as eco friendly friendly as possibly and are always looking for ways to improve. Here are a few steps we take to do our bit. 🌍
🍃 We decided from the very start that HKB would be sold in glass as oppose to plastic.
🍃We have found a supplier who delivers our glass jars to us in cardboard only packaging.
🍃Our scent packets and blankets are all 100% cotton.
🍃Our labels are printed on unbleached recycled paper.
🍃The mixture itself is made from five different dried plants. That’s it. No added nasties.
🍃HKB are made to be used again and again, if stored correctly, they can last up to a year. Replacement sachets are available so you needn’t purchase another full jar. Reducing waste, unlike many scented cat products on the market that loose their scent shortly after purchase.
🍃The cat grass seeds are from a local farm, we buy in bulk then package them ourselves for you. No added manufacturing process, chemical treatments etc.
🍃We re-use! whenever we get a delivery, if any of the packaging is salvageable we will use it again. Hence why you may find your parcels to be a little eclectic with padding sometimes.
🍃We use paper packing tape for all our postal orders.
🍃 Our new products are always environmentally friendly and we often offer pre-loved items on our stall.
We know it’s not always easy, but a small change here and there is better than doing nothing. We only have this one beautiful planet Earth and it deserves our respect. 🌍
