It wasn't my most favourite thing, starting my day with a flat battery. But, whatever, it was time for my feet to hit the street 👣

First little dogs were right around the corner, so a tootle to pick Spartacus and Teddy up and take them for a leg stretch, Peppa and the kids joined us too. 🐾

Then a walk to the other end of town to take my next little pal Toby for some beach fun, thought I'd stick strava on.🐾

Then a walk back to our end of town to check on the kids, before catching the tram to Cleveleys for a clean. 🪣 🧽

Then I needed to get to Thornton to walk my last four legged friend of the day Harper, I decided to just walk it and stuck strava on again out of curiosity. 🐾

Figured I would just catch the number 14 back home when I had finished - but I missed it, so carried on to the next stop, and then the next...

I was almost considering just walking all the way back to Fleetwood to clean for my last gent, but was a bit glad when Mike rang to say he'd jump started my car and would come and pick me up in it, so I took it for a raz to Kirkham and back before seeing to my last client of the day. 🪣🧽

I wish I just left strava on all day for a grand total.

These things are sent to try us, but I did quite enjoy getting the steps. Just so Sorry I couldn't make it to everyone, appreciate your understanding so much. 💕💕💕

Happy National Dog Day 🐶🐾

We have celebrated with a lovely walk down Skippool Creek and a pit stop at Thornton Lodge for some Doggie Treats, thankfully avoided the rain, we will look forward to our usual beach walk later.

After careful consideration over the last few months (it really has taken me that long to be absolutely sure! 🫣), I've decided to increase my hourly rate from £15.00 to £17.50.

A little thank you to a fellow cleaner for giving me the confidence ❤️, and to the lovely clients who have already decided to give me a pay rise themselves - your kindness really meant so much 🥰.

In the 10 years I've been in business, I've only increased my prices twice: to £13 in 2022, and then to £15 a couple of years later. Since then, I've absorbed the rising costs of fuel, insurance, supplies and everything else that comes with running a business, but I've now reached the point where I need to make this change.

I always try to keep my services as affordable as possible while continuing to provide the reliable, caring service you know and trust, and I hope you understand.

I also have a new business account, which means I'll now be able to send invoices and payment links, making it even easier for those who prefer to pay digitally. I'll be in touch with everyone individually with the new details.

I've already started contacting clients, so thank you for your patience while I work my way through everyone!

New prices:

🐾 30-minute dog walk – £12.00
🐾 45-minute dog walk - £15.00
🐾 1-hour dog walk – £17.50
🧽 1-hour domestic clean – £17.50
🏡 Holiday pop-in/pet check-in – from £12.00

I don't currently have any cleaning availability, and I have a handful of people waiting. My youngest starts high school in September, so I may be able to open up a slot or two then.

I'll also be taking a little time out with my family at the beginning of the summer holidays, and then again at the end of August, to make some precious memories with my kids before they decide to completely bin me off ❤️

I thought it would be worth giving this a share. At one of Peppas routine health check ups, the vet said she had plaque build up and reccomended a clean under anaesthetic.

She's 10, we wanted to avoid putting her under if we could. My friend reccomended seaweed powder, she'd had great results with her elderly girl.

So we gave this a go, you have to be a bit patient, it can take around 4 weeks before you really notice a difference. But I have to say, after using this for a couple of months now there's a marked improvement in her breath HALLELUJAH and her teeth and gums look much better.

For her small size she only needs half a scoop sprinkling into her food each day, which is a very small sprinkle. So the pouch is going to last absolutely ages, so for just under a tenner for a 200g pouch it's a right bargain. X
