We are often asked a lot of questions about how involved children should be in the process of a pet passing and how best to help them grieve in a way that may make sense to them.

Jayne from Threadie & Bloom has created a beautiful book for children called The Love That Stays. A book centered around a simple idea that there's a 'letter box' inside a child's chest where love stays. They can 'post' thoughts to their pet whenever they need to, giving children something concrete to do with their feelings when everything else feels confusing.
