🐴 FRANK’S FRIDAY - I'm back......... 🐴
Look who’s finally turned up to write his regular social media post........!!! 🤣
First things first, I must apologise for my recent lack of regular posts. Life has been very busy. Thankfully, we have a social media manager to keep things running….... but clearly my posts are better than hers, so I have come back!
⭐ FIVE-STAR NEWS! ⭐
As you know, the yard has recently received a 5 ⭐ assessment! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
In our announcement, we failed to mention the significant part I played in this achievement. As usual, I had to take matters into my own hooves and tidy up after the workers to ensure the yard was ready. I hope you will agree, the photographic evidence speaks for itself. 📸
I’m also beginning to question who is worse when it comes to leaving things lying around… my mum, who seems to think that if she drops something outside my stable, the fairies will magically come along and tidy it away 🧚♀️, or Molly G, who has clearly been taking notes from my mum and is now doing exactly the same thing! Quite frankly, they are as bad as each other and BOTH need retraining. Luckily, I am here to maintain standards.
🎓 A MASSIVE WELL DONE TO MY MUM! 🎓
Again, as you also know, my mum has achieved her Level 4 BHS Coaching Certificate! 👏👏👏
Didn't she do well? I am incredibly proud of her, although I do think I played a rather massive part in this achievement too. 😂
I could definitely hear her muttering away during our training sessions, practising all the things she was going to say during her assessment. Honestly.......... my mum can talk. It’s a good job I’ve mastered the art of switching off to her ramblings, Liam taught me all I know in that area, but don't tell mum I told you that. 🫢🫢🤫🤫
But jokes aside, I really am super proud of my mum. ❤️ She’s worked so hard, and she is amazing. Well done Mum. 🥰
🐴 THE USUAL HAPPENINGS…
So, what else has been going on in Frank’s world this week?
✂️ I’VE BEEN CLIPPED. WHAT THE ACTUAL?! 😱
Has my mum not looked outside lately? Have you seen the weather? The temperature has dropped, the wind is blowing, and there’s a definite chill in the air, and what does she decide to do? REMOVE MY BEAUTIFUL, WARM, NATURAL COAT!
I mean, HELLO, I am a horse, not a walking radiator! I am expected to survive the elements with half my insulation missing. I think we can all agree that this is a serious welfare issue…...... for me, and I need to know where to report this.
MUM. I NEED A HEATED RUG. ♨️
Not one of those basic, ordinary rugs either. I am talking heated and luxurious. Ideally with a temperature control and someone on hand to adjust it whenever I feel a slight chill, preferably with a carrot in their hand.
The yard has achieved five stars, so I think it’s only fair that my personal accommodation matches those standards. Just saying.
👞 Had my hooves done and a lovely new set of shoes fitted.

🍂 BRITISH WEATHER… MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
One minute it’s warm, the next it’s raining sideways, the wind is howling, and I’m standing there wondering where summer went.
I’d like to formally request that the weather sorts itself out, my mum stops removing my coat, and a heated rug appears in my stable IMMEDIATELY.
I’m not asking for much, am I?
📣 AND FINALLY… HALF TERM IS BACK!
YES. AGAIN. 😭
Next week brings half term, which means CHILDREN and NOISE and MORE CHILDREN and EVEN MORE NOISE.
Why are the school holidays so frequent? Do children ever actually go to school anymore, or is it just a series of holidays interrupted by the occasional lesson?
There will be running, shouting, squealing, unexpected noises, and people appearing from nowhere when I’m trying to enjoy a peaceful snooze.
I love everyone of course… but from a comfortable distance, preferably while wearing my heated rug and enjoying some peace and quiet.
So, if you see me next week looking slightly fed up, ears pinned back, and questioning all my life choices, you will know why.
I shall be accepting sympathy, carrots, and donations towards my heated rug fund because I suspect mum will ignore this request. Let's see if she posts a reply to me......... 🥕
Anyway, that’s enough from me for this week. I’ve got standards to uphold, mess to supervise, humans to retrain, and a new rug to negotiate.
