Frank’s Friday 🐴✨
Did you miss me last week people? I am sorry I was unusually quiet but with all the prepping for Area Festivals, I was simply far too busy to write my usual weekly update. I hope you enjoyed Stan's take on the world for a week (although don't enjoy Stan's posts too much).
I’ve got plenty to tell you this week though, and where better to start than with the Area Festivals last weekend. What a weekend! I was absolutely magnificent. I went out there, did my job and showed everyone exactly what I’m made of. Mum was rather pleased with me too, which always makes me happy. ❤️
Then, just as I wanted a nice easy Monday, along came Pony Camp 2…... and, quite frankly, there were far too many children, far too much noise and far too much going on.
Monday night, however, things got a little more interesting. Mum was doing my dinner and, for some reason, she didn’t put my clip on my stable door. 🤔
Well… obviously I couldn’t possibly let an opportunity like that pass me by! So I escaped my stable and joined the campers for a game of man hunt. I even had a little wander around and to check the tent area. ⛺😂
Not quite sure why one of the campers felt it necessary to announce to mum that 'Frank is out of his stable'. Needless to say, Frank wasn't out much longer. I just wanted to join in!
The ONLY good thing about Monday to Wednesday was the extra massage from Sam at SGB Equine & Human Soft tissue therapist , and thanks to her, I am now feeling absolutely tip-top and ready for Home Nations this weekend.
It certainly wasn’t the middle-of-the-night toilet trips from the campers that helped… or the security lights constantly coming on. 🙄 Honestly, some people have no consideration for a horse trying to sleep.
Thankfully, I’ve had a more gentle end to the week, with some lovely riding time with Mum. Much more civilised.
Although, she then let me down when she left Lauren and Chloe to bath me last night.
I AM GOING TO A BIG SHOW THIS WEEKEND.
And she let the inexperienced young ones bath me?! 😳. What was she thinking?!
To be fair… they weren’t actually that bad, once they stopped writing words on me. I got through the whole experience by standing on their hose to amuse myself and demanding a lick it, and by the end I was looking absolutely fabulous.
Now I’m going away again today but that's ok, the weather is cooler so I don't mind a little trip in the metal container, although mum and I have yet to discuss where we are going...... hopefully not too far.
Don’t worry peeps - I've left Stan in charge again.
He’s had some more training this week in the very important business of making sure the workers are doing their jobs properly and keeping everyone on their toes. I have to say, Stan's looking very confident in his new management role, slightly worried he will get too cocky too quickly but I will keep him in his place!!
I know he’s got this weekend covered though. 😏
Have a fabulous weekend peeps.
Love,
Frank 🐴❤️
