🐾 we're super lucky to have Weekwood Copse Woodland Hire just down the road so bowie can have a proper blast off lead ... & nikki's arms can have a bit of a break as bow does pull like a freight train trying to sniff every single molecule of everything within reach of her nose 😅

📤 cay9 companions is now out of office until next wednesday so please expect a little delay in responses to general enquiries, emails & whatsapps - i do appreciate your patience & understanding!
🧘‍♀️ short breaks tactically scheduled throughout the year are absolute burnout saviours... never believed burnout was a thing until i went self employed & made the mistake of not giving myself enough breaks in my first year!
this job is not only physically demanding, its mentally challenging too, with the added bonus of the stresses, strains & exhaustion that comes with the recent extreme temperatures we've experienced, i can safely say i'm very ready to put my feet up, rest the creaky knees & spend some time catching up with my canine nutrition studies

an eventful outing with neo, rosie & maui 🥴💜
eagle eyes viewers will notice the blue longline was rehomed from maui to neo... where we were walking maui has a previous criminal record for running off after pheasants so i have it trailing. little did i know that neo is also partial to a pheasant, flushing two out of a thicket & having an absolute whale of a time running about after them like a loonie... until he was caught again 🙈 so to give him as much freedom as possible for the rest of the walk, he inherited the longline, (typically the first walk i didn't put his flippin' harness on!!!) maui was demoted to the short lead & it was time for calming down & a mosey back to the van to recover from all the shenanigans 🙃 oh & rosie decided to contribute to it all by rolling in fox poo 👌
** i usually would never entertain a longline on a collar due to safety reasons, so neo was limited to 5m rather than the full 10m, & no running allowed!
