He’s such a handsome old gent, it’s lovely to see you! ❤️❤️❤️ We take a break from seeing our favourite Frenchie over the height of summer, he’s not good with the heat, and safety comes first! 🔥☀️🔥 Bless him, he’s our 4-legged reason to wish for the start of Autumn 🍂🐾🍂🐾🍂.

Do not adjust your contrast, those colours are real! With drizzling rain we took ourselves to a park that we have been avoiding for a while because there is no shade. This park looks dryer than the American grasslands 😂. With no rain gear to hand we carried on, not worrying too much as we knew we would dry off quickly. They loved having a sniffy walk in a different place for a change. 🥰🙂🐾

Yesterday we said a sad farewell to our tiny chocolate sausage monster as he packed his bag and left for home. He used his last day to put our tiny pensioner through his paces and made sure he wasn’t left out of the play activities. I think Ron did very well considering he will soon be 15 years old! We were delighted to hear we will see this handsome boy for future visits and holidays, which pleased Bridget as I suspect she will miss his mischief, as will I. See you again soon little man! 🥰🐶🐾❤️

Yesterday we said goodbye to our adorable Cavapoo, but not for too long as she will be back later in the year 👋🥰🐶. She popped to say farewell to my folks on the weekend as she is fond of them too. It feels strange when a doggy goes home after a long stay, I have to stop myself from putting their bowls out at dinner time ❤️. See you again soon precious girl ❤️👋🐶.

We’ve succumbed to the heat and gone up to the bedroom to huddle around the air conditioning 😆. It doesn’t matter where these two are, there’s always a game to play, they are firm friends ❤️🥰. It’s taken Mr Sausage a while to find the secret pensioner steps up to the bed, but now he’s found them there’s no getting him down 😆😄. I hope we haven’t ruined him for going home! 80% of ‘stay on the floor’ training undone - but 100% fun times 😊🐾🐶.

Catching up with yesterday’s movies now that the heat is slowly dropping, it was 35c here today! Yesterday the Poodle Sisters came for a visit, making a rare day with full house! My boarding licence allows four guests but we try to stay lower than that most of the year. Lots of footage from the living room because it is north east facing and the coolest room in the house, a welcome retreat as the kitchen starts to heat up in mid afternoon ☀️🔥☀️
