Meet Pisco 🐾

Last weekend I had the pleasure of cat sitting lovely Pisco again, and it was so nice to see her. 💙

Pisco is such an affectionate girl and was more than happy to enjoy plenty of fuss and attention during my visits. She’s got such a sweet nature and always made me feel very welcome. 🥹

She also loves a little playtime and had lots of fun chasing toys before settling down for even more cuddles and strokes. 🎾🐱

It’s always special getting to look after cats I’ve cared for before and Pisco was an absolute joy to spend time with again. ❤️

Meet Kobe & Skye 🐾

Last week, I had the pleasure of looking after these two gorgeous cats while their family were away. Although they were very different personalities, they were both lovely in their own way. 💙

Kobe was the shy one of the pair and preferred to keep a little distance while keeping a close eye on me from afar. Over time he let me stroke him a little, but he was definitely happiest quietly observing everything going on around him. 🥹

Skye, on the other hand, was always ready for a quick fuss after food time before heading straight back outside for another garden adventure. 🌿🐱 She loved checking in for attention before continuing her patrol of the garden!

It was so nice getting to spend time with these two and getting to know their completely different little personalities. ❤️

Meet Dali 🐾

Earlier this month, I had the absolute pleasure of cat sitting this handsome boy, visiting him twice a day while his family were away and he completely stole my heart. 💙

When I first met Dali, he was a little shy and unsure, preferring to keep his distance while he settled into a new routine. But it didn’t take long before his sweet personality started to shine through and by day 4 he was already greeting me at the door every time I arrived. 🥹

He absolutely loved a good fuss and would happily soak up all the attention he could get. He was also very vocal when it came to food time making sure I knew exactly when dinner was due! 😂

One of my favourite little quirks was his obsession with my bag. No matter where I put it, Dali somehow managed to claim it as his favourite lounging spot and would curl up on it whenever he got the chance. 👜🐱

It was such a joy getting to spend time with this gorgeous, chatty, affectionate boy and I already miss his funny little habits and sweet face so much. ❤️

As temperatures rise, our feline friends can struggle with the heat too! Here are a few simple ways to help keep your kitty safe, cool, and comfortable this summer:

💧 Keep fresh, cool water available
🧊 Add ice cubes to water bowls
🛏️ Create cool resting spots around the house
☀️ Keep curtains closed during peak heat
🪮 Groom regularly to help with excess fur

Cats can quickly become uncomfortable in warm weather, so a little extra care goes a long way ❤️

So lovely that Ruby appeared to remember me after all these months 🐾

I had the pleasure of cat sitting her again last week and despite not seeing her for a quite a while, she jumped straight onto my lap for cuddles and fuss like no time had passed at all. Moments like this are the best part of pet sitting, earning their trust and becoming a familiar face they feel safe with ❤️
