🐾🌞 We’re so excited to be taking part in this year’s Summer Fare to help raise money for charity! 🌞🐾

📅 Saturday 7th June
⏰ 10:00am – 4:00pm

There’s going to be something for everyone — dog showing, agility, live bands, lots of amazing stalls, food, fun and a fantastic community atmosphere all day long! 🎶🐶🎪

It would mean so much to see lots of friendly faces there, so please come along and support this wonderful event. Bring your family, friends and of course your pups for a fun-filled day out! 💛

I honestly can’t believe it… my little business is officially 1 year old! 💛

What started as an idea has grown into something I’m so proud of – and it’s all thanks to YOU. Every booking, every recommendation, every like, share and kind word has helped me build something truly special.

I’ve met so many amazing pups (and their humans 🐶), and I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day. From muddy makeovers to full grooms, it’s been the best year watching your dogs leave feeling fresh, happy and loved.

Here’s to many more wagging tails, fresh trims, and cuddles ahead ✂️🐕

Bailey the Chihuahua came in with his brother Ollie for a pamper, and while he loved his bath… the dryer was a different story 😅

One dramatic scream later (heard from inside the house!), we switched to a gentler drying setup and he settled like a little prince 👑
A tidy trim and nail clip later, Bailey is all ready to surprise his other dad when he gets home from sea ⚓🐶

Honey the little wire-haired terrier 🐾

I’ve had the pleasure of grooming Honey’s sister, Trixie, before — so now it was Honey’s turn for a pamper session.

Honey absolutely loved her bath and groom, but when it came to her feet… she showed a little bit of spice 🌶️🥵

That’s completely okay though — we always go at the dog’s pace, taking our time to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. With patience, reassurance, and (one bag of treats later 🍖), Honey was 95% happier about the process — and that’s exactly what we’re all about here at Paws: safety, comfort, and building a trusting relationship.

You did so well in the end, Honey.

Suki 🐾

This little lady is part of my life two or three times a week now. Her mum moved back to the area about a year ago, and I still remember doing Suki’s very first groom… it was like grooming a fish out of water! 😅

Fast forward to now, and I get to take her out for walks a few times a week. Suki is truly one of my pack, and watching her with the others is both hilarious and fascinating – every dog has their own little personality and she fits right in.

You’ve absolutely bloomed over the past 10 months, Suki, and it’s been so lovely to watch your confidence grow. 💕

This handsome young gundog is Wilson, back at Paws for his second groom 🐾
Wilson is full of big, happy energy – still very much a puppy at heart! He absolutely LOVES bath time, especially when the water is nice and warm. Add in a good face rub and a relaxing massage and he’s in his element.

Drying time is always entertaining with Wilson, as he tries his best to play with the blaster. It might make the process take a little longer, but it’s impossible not to laugh at his playful antics 😂

Our little man Albie is back! 🐾
This boy is truly part of the family now. He always enjoys a play date with my Cocker Spaniel before settling in for a nice warm bath. After a good deshed to get rid of all that mud, a bit of carding to remove his undercoat, a blast dry, and a tidy nail clip – he’s feeling fresh and handsome again. ✂️🛁

Albie is such a good boy for the whole groom, and he’s a perfect example of why it’s so important to start grooming from a young age. Early positive experiences make it enjoyable and stress-free for everyone involved. 💙

This is Alvin for anyone that doesn’t know him 🐾

Alvin was actually one of my original five dogs when I first started grooming. When I opened up, I offered five free grooms to get going and Alvin was lucky enough to be one of them. Safe to say he’s been part of the journey from the very beginning!

He’s such a good boy. Although… I’ll never forget his first groom when I accidentally caught his quick while trimming his nail and I was convinced he was going to bleed to death (dramatic much?! 🤣). Of course he was absolutely fine — these things happen and any groomer will tell you it’s part of the job — but this was the first time it had happened while I was working solo!

I told mum straight away, she was totally fine about it, and Alvin… well Alvin couldn’t have cared less as long as there was a tennis ball involved 🎾

This boy loves a tennis ball more than anything, and he honestly has me in stitches every time he comes in.

Lennox the XL Bully 💙

Look who came for his pamper session… Lennox!

This big softie absolutely loves visiting us. A warm bubbly bath and a good face rub are his favourite parts of the day, and he soaks up every second of the attention.

We are fully insured to groom XL Bullies, which means while Lennox is here he can safely have his muzzle off and wander around the den like he owns the place – relaxed, happy and without a care in the world.

He really is the definition of a gentle giant, and we always love having him in for his spa day.

Oh sweet little Winnie 💕

Mum brought you back for a groom after we had to tidy up your choppy coat 6 weeks ago. What a difference already! You sit like a little princess and truly seem to enjoy being pampered.

We’re nearly there with your face now. Dad would like your ears a little shorter, but hey – I always see this stage as part of the first proper grooming journey. It’s all about finding the perfect style that suits both you and your lovely fur parents.

You were such a good girl today, Winnie. I can’t wait to see you again soon for more cuddles and pampering ✂️🐾

Flash the Labradoodle 🐾

What a handsome boy! Flash is such a laid-back lad and absolutely loves his bath… which was lucky because this boy had a lot of fur to lose!

He hadn’t been groomed since the end of last year, so he was well overdue a good scrub and tidy. His Dad’s like him with a short body but a bit of length on that distinguished face – and it suits him perfectly.

And those eyes… almost human! 👀
