Ruby 🥹💗

Ruby has a very important role in the family… she’s the twin sister of Coco and little Bonnie’s big sister! 🐾

Ruby is definitely the sensitive soul out of the two twins and usually needs a little extra reassurance during her groom. Or so I thought… 😂

Once Ruby was all groomed and it was Coco’s turn, Ruby casually made her way into my lounge, settled herself down with Riley and my husband and proceeded to watch TV like she owned the place! 😂

Well, Ruby… I think we’ve learnt something today! Maybe you don’t need all that reassurance after all — you just wanted VIP lounge access! 👑😂

Although there is ONE problem…

I’ve now discovered you’re a Spurs supporter. 😳

Ruby, I’m sorry… but I can’t have another Spurs fan in this house. There’s already enough of them! 😂⚽️

You might have to find yourself a new groomer… 😜

Bonnie’s Second Puppy Pamper 🐶💕

Bonnie the gorgeous show Cockerjack Spaniel is back for her second puppy groom! 🥰✂️

Bonnie only lives around the corner from me here in Portchester, so she gets to walk to her appointments — how lucky is she?! 🐾💕

She’s growing up far too quickly, but she’s taking to her puppy pamper like an absolute pro! A little bath, dry, tidy-up and plenty of cuddles and she was looking gorgeous as ever. 🥰

Bonnie also had a little play with her new friend, Riley the working Cocker, while she was here. Safe to say, by the time Mum arrived, Bonnie was looking slightly less like she’d just had a groom and more like she’d been on a playdate! 😂🙈

I did have to explain to Mum that I promise she really did have a groom! 🤣

She’s doing so well and it’s lovely watching her confidence grow with every visit. 💗

🐶 Our lovely Theo is back! 🐶

This boy is honestly one of the most sensitive little souls going! 🥹💙 He’s an absolute dream to groom, loves a cuddle and, of course, a few treats 😜

Theo comes to me every 8 weeks and Mum does such a brilliant job keeping on top of his brushing at home, which makes my job SO much easier! 👏

Now… I have to admit something to Mum… 🤦‍♀️😂

I may have accidentally used the shorter comb attachment on Theo’s legs this time! So, rather than have his legs shorter than his body, I went one shorter on his body too.

I held my hands up and admitted my mistake… and do you know what? Mum absolutely LOVED his new look! 🙌 So much so, she’s asked for the same cut going forward! 😂💙

And this is exactly why I love the relationship I have with my pups and their paw parents. 🐾❤️

Little Billie’s Summer Trim ☀️🐶

Little Billie is back for her summer trim! ✂️☀️

And honestly, these after photos do not do this little lady justice! 😍

Billie makes some of the funniest little noises throughout her groom and keeps me entertained from start to finish 😂 She absolutely loves a pamper and once she’s finished, she’s straight into strut-your-stuff mode like she knows exactly how fabulous she looks! 💁‍♀️🐾

I’m sure I’ll see you again before the summer is over, ready for your return to uni with Mum. You’ve got to look dapper for the start of term, haven’t you, Billie?! 🎓🐶

Nan has the honours of dropping you off and picking you up, and after a little chat I now know you’re off spending some time with your great-grandparents from up North ❤️

💗 PEGGY IS BACK… AND SOMETHING HAS CHANGED! 💗

Peggy is back for her 6-week groom and, well… Peggy has always been a little spicy when it comes to her grooming — especially those front legs! 😬🦷

Oh yes… she makes her feelings VERY well known! 😂

BUT TODAY?!

Who swapped my Peggy for this chilled-out little fluff ball?! 🥹

She was honestly the most relaxed I’ve EVER seen her. So relaxed, in fact, that I actually struggled to groom her because she turned into a complete Peggy puddle! 😂💗

Mum, as always, has been absolutely smashing the brushing at home, and it makes such a HUGE difference to Peggy’s groom. 🙌🏼

And hats off to Mum for sticking to that 6-week grooming routine too! 👏🏼

This groom is the perfect example of why regular appointments, good brushing at home and consistency make such a difference. The coat stays manageable, the groom is easier for Peggy, and we can keep her looking like the gorgeous little fluff ball she is. 🐶✨

After LOTS of cuddles, a very relaxed Peggy and plenty of pampering, I finally told Mum…

“Yep, she’s ready!” 😂💗

OZZY IS BACK… AND HE’S BROUGHT THE FUR FACTORY WITH HIM! 😂🐶

Look at this little character! All Jack Russell body with the cutest little Frenchie ears — honestly, I’m obsessed with him! 😍😂

Ozzy came in for a good double bath with an added mud bath to help get all that loose coat out, and WOW… the amount of fur that came off this little lad was unbelievable! 🤯

I’m not entirely convinced there’s actually any dog left under all that fur… 😂
Ozzy, mate, where were you keeping it all?! 🤣

After the great fur explosion, Ozzy was more than happy to have his nails clipped and filed down. Not a fuss, not a drama — just a very good boy! 🐾✂️

Dad came to collect him, Ozzy picked up his little treat bag and off they went, hopefully leaving a slightly smaller fur footprint behind! 😂🎁

🚨 EXCUSE ME… CAN WE JUST APPRECIATE BENJI BOY?! 🚨

Because LOOK at him! 😍🐶
That shine… that fluffy coat… that handsome little face! ✨

This young boy was an absolute dream throughout his groom. And when a pup lets you fluff dry them properly, you know you’re onto a winner! 🙌🏻✂️

The fluff drying makes such a difference — you get that lovely lift in the coat and it makes creating that perfect finish SO much easier.

Okay… he was a little jumpy when I was working around his face, but hey, I’ll take that! 😂

99% perfect groom + 1% “Auntie Vic, I’m not sure about this bit” = a pretty blooming perfect groom to me! 💙😂

And then came playtime…

Benji had a lovely little play with his new friend Riley. 🐶💕 Mum had warned me that Benji can be nervous around other dogs, but Riley is no ordinary pup!

Somehow, she brings out the best in every dog that comes through the door. She’s basically the salon’s unofficial confidence coach… followed closely by her second job as Chief Treat Location Investigator. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

She shows every new friend exactly where Auntie Vic keeps the good stuff. Obviously. 🙄🤣

Cookie’s back for his 6-week groom… and I’m not going to lie, this one was a challenge! 🤣💙

This little whirlwind had been staying with his auntie while Mum and Dad selfishly abandoned him to go on holiday! 🌴✈️ Safe to say he came back FULLY charged and ready to test my grooming skills.

One day, Cookie… one day we’ll get that fluffy head and face looking perfectly tidy. But scissors and a bouncy young pup are definitely not the dream team! 😂

The important thing is that we worked at Cookie’s pace, kept the experience positive, and he’s gone home looking and feeling fresh. Every groom builds his confidence a little more because every tail wag matters. 🐾💙

Lady… what can we say about this little pocket rocket? 🚀🐾

You’d never believe this gorgeous spaniel is into double figures the way she carries on! She is always on the go and clearly believes slowing down is highly overrated. 😂

Lady was dropped off by Dad, who was very quick to tell me she’d already been for a walk that morning… and that I wasn’t allowed to tell him off! 🤣 Last time she visited, she’d had neither work nor a walk beforehand, so she arrived fully charged and ready to keep me on my toes.

After Dad made the all-important phone call to Mum to double-check what trim Lady was having (because we all know Mum has the final say! 😅), it was bath time.

From start to finish, Lady barely had all four paws on the table for more than a few seconds. Wiggle here, shuffle there, investigate everything… she’s a busy little lady with places to be!

Safe to say, I definitely earned my coffee after this groom! ☕😂

Bella is back! 🐩✨

I haven’t seen this gorgeous girl since November last year, but now that I’ve got more availability, Mum was able to bring her back to me. ❤️

Last time Bella had to be clipped quite short, so today the mission was simple… bring back that gorgeous fluffy look! Watching her transform from a tight little curly bob into a soft, fluffy lamb was so satisfying. 🐑🥹

Seriously… doesn’t she look adorable?! 😍
