☀️ Summer Holiday check in ! ☀️

I’ll be honest… social media has never been my favourite part of running the business, and trying to keep on top of it during the summer holidays is even harder! 🙈 So if I’ve been a little quiet on here, it’s not because I’ve disappeared.

I’m still working and grooming throughout the holidays as normal, just juggling appointments with entertaining the boys and trying to survive the endless snack requests! 🤪🐶✂️

📞 If I don’t answer, I’m probably with a dog, or spending time with my family! Please leave me a voicemail or send me a text, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

✨ A little availability update ... ✨

Firstly, thank you so much for your patience if you've been waiting on a reply from me over the last few days. We've had a family situation to deal with, so I've been a bit slower than usual getting back to messages. I'm now catching up with everyone, so thank you for bearing with me. ❤️

With the summer holidays here, my availability between now and September is much more limited than usual. If you've been thinking about booking in, I'd really recommend getting your appointment secured sooner rather than later, as I only have a handful of spaces left between now and then.

Thank you so much to all of my amazing clients for keeping me busy and for always supporting my little business. I genuinely appreciate every single booking, recommendation, and kind message. ❤️

Regular grooming could save you money on unexpected vet bills!!

Every dog that comes to me receives a basic health check as part of their groom. While I’m not a vet and can’t diagnose medical conditions, I often spot things that owners haven’t noticed yet, such as:

🐾 Grass seeds
🕷️ Ticks
🔍 New lumps or bumps
👂 Ear issues
🦷 Changes in teeth or gums
🐕 Skin and coat changes

One of the biggest benefits of regular grooming is that I get to know your dog. When I see them every few weeks, it’s much easier to notice when something has changed, meaning you can get it checked sooner before it potentially becomes a bigger problem.

A groom is about so much more than just looking good—it’s another way to help keep your dog happy, healthy, and comfortable. ❤️

☀️ A little throwback to this gorgeous Sheepadoodle! 🐑🐾

With the warmer weather, I made sure she stayed comfortable throughout her groom. We did the groom early in the morning, kept nice and cool, cool bath, plenty of water breaks, and her owner chose a shorter trim to help keep her comfortable over the summer. 💙✂️

Her owner sent me the last photo when they got home, and I just had to share it! Safe to say she was feeling much cooler and very pleased with herself. 🥹🥰

Feeling a little nostalgic today and resharing this video from when I left Gosport. 💕

People often think dog grooming is just about grooming a dog, but it’s so much more than that. You build bonds with them, get to know all their little personalities, and when you stop seeing them, you genuinely miss them – just like you miss their owners too.

I still think about so many of my lovely Gosport dogs and families and hope you’re all doing well. ❤️ And to all of my wonderful clients since moving, thank you for making this new chapter so special.
