Today we say goodbye to Marc and Cora, two of our greatly loved vets.

Many of you will join us in wishing Marc well as he starts his new adventure in Singapore. We are sure you will agree they will be lucky to have such a knowledgeable, fun, exceptional vet. There are many things we will miss about Marc, mostly his laugh that echoes through the practice, keeping the team morale up and always being there when we need him.

Cora is moving to Singapore to join family and continue her already thriving career. Cora has brought so much to the Animed family, including a wealth of knowledge in ophthalmic medicine, always having time to share her knowledge and skills with colleagues. Even through difficult times Cora always brings positivity and strength to the team and her clients, striving for excellent patient care.

Although we are sad to say goodbye, we are thrilled for them in their new chapters.

How hot is too hot for a dog walk?

Each dog is different, for example Brachycephalic (flat faced), elderly or young, excitable dogs are more at risk of heat stroke, but the below shows a general rule of thumb in terms of care needed when walking your dog in hot weather.

Remember, your dog missing a walk or an event is not the end of the world, if it could save their life.
