Enrichment…
We all do things slightly differently and with a busy household it’s easy to add little tricks.
—
We buy our eggs from the local farmshop and reuse the trays as Dots brain trainer. It also acts as a slow feeder so it’s a double win 🥇
—
We also use wobble kongs, sniff and search piles, scatter games and many more.
—
It’s a hard life being the taste tester for new flavours 😜

Paws you’re scrolling... If your visiting us tomorrow for our Haldon Forest Bark event please read the below guidelines for a smooth running day 🐾

🐾 Keep dogs on a lead, if you have a retractable lead, keep it short.
🐾 Pick up after your dog and put poo bags in the provided bins.
🐾 The event will be located on the forest road and grass area close to Go Ape, follow Go Ape signage from the carpark.
🐾 We advise you to bring cash as some traders do not accept card payments.
🐾 Canine first aiders will be at the Whiskers Vets stand.
🐾 For human first aid visit our Information pod or the Forestry stand.
🐾 Refreshments are available at the main event site (Teign Bean) ,Haldon Forest Park Café and Pantry.
🐾 If your dog is nervous or reactive with other dogs please do not bring them to this event.
🐾 The event will run from 10am to 3:30pm
🐾 Toilets are a short walk from the event in our main hub area.
🐾 This event is free however there is a charge for parking, please purchase these tickets from our parking machines on arrival.
🐾The Dog Show (£1 per entry) and Raffle (£2 per strip) will be cash only and will be put directly into charity pots.

And very importantly lets keep our fingers crossed for good weather!

Our dog show is enter on the day only, with no pre-booked entries required, so just turn up and join the fun! All classes will be available to enter on arrival.

Although we’ve had a bit of rain today, the forecast for tomorrow is looking much better, and we can’t wait to welcome you and your dogs to Nutwell Court.

Thank you to each and every one of you that made today possible.
From my mom taking the feral children last minute; folks walking my dog (she couldn’t fit in with the stock 🫣), people watching the stall so I could go wee, people buying me coffee and those who helped me load and unload.

It takes a village and what a darn fine place we live in.
It’s all about who you surround yourself with and who jumps in your corner.
—
So blessed to live where we are, today is 💯 % the vibes we need in life.

Our first independent vets in Exmouth for many years.

We hope you’ll join us at Poppy’s, in congratulating Dragos on his new venture.
Situated across the strand in the old Just Purrfect building, nearby parking and drop off, plenty of hugs and a quiet entrance for nervy pooches.
