After 2 wonderful years, today marks my final day of dog walking as I close my business ahead of my big move emigrating to Cyprus this summer❤️‍🩹🐾❤️‍🩹

This isn’t an easy post to write. What started as a simple idea grew into something so special, and I feel incredibly lucky to have spent my days with your dogs. It truly has meant the world to me, and I will miss every wag, walk & muddy paw 🐾

To all the dogs I’ve had the pleasure of walking - you have brought me so much joy, laughter & unforgettable moments.

A huge thank you as well to the ProPaws what’s app group of all the local walkers for your support, advice & daily giggles! I’ll miss being part of such an amazing community.

While I’m so excited for this next chapter with my husband Ben, Cooper, Ivy & doggies Banger & Boyce, I am also incredibly sad to be saying goodbye 👋🏼

A special mention to Jo from & Hannah from , who knew this journey would bring me such fantastic friends. I’m so grateful for you both both & will miss you hugely 💕

Well now I can say I’ve hung up my walking boots 🥾 once & for all, “Ta léme” see you later !

This might sound dramatic… but every dog walker should think about this.
Us dog walkers always put the dogs first 🐾
But for a minute… let’s talk about our own safety.
Most days we are out walking alone in forests, fields and quiet places, and although it’s beautiful and peaceful, it also means we can be very isolated.
Last year there were a few reports of women being attacked in a forest near where I walk.
One of those attacks actually happened in a spot where I had been walking just half an hour earlier.
I even remember seeing a man there at the time, but I didn’t think anything of it and carried on my walk.
Because I’m always filming the dogs, I checked my videos later to see if I had caught him on camera… but unfortunately I hadn’t.
Now if I ever feel unsure about someone when I’m walking, I will subtly start filming or get my phone ready, just in case.
It got me thinking…
What would you actually do if you were attacked?
It’s not nice to think about, but being prepared could make all the difference.
Things that can help:
🚨 Carry a personal alarm
📱 Share your live location with someone
📢 Make noise, scream and shout
👀 Be aware of your surroundings
❤️ Trust your instincts, if something feels wrong, leave
We spend our days protecting the dogs…
but we have to protect ourselves too.
Dog walkers, hikers, runners, anyone who walks alone…

Nice start to my Thursday with Boyce joining us on the schedule ok run,, then lots of fun at Woodbury but decided to swap the mud for some sand on my last walk 🙌🏼😎🐾 and enjoyed every minute!

Welcome Lola to our Dashers pack 🎉🎉🎉,,, she’s a rescue from Cyprus, approx 6 yrs old, gorgeous golden Lympstone girl !! She’s with me once a month, possibly with more guest appearances throughout a month adhoc 🙌🏼🙌🏼🎉💕. She had a great first walk with me today at Four Firs with my morning group, making new friends already with Bertie, Mouse & Luna 🙌🏼🐾💕💙
