Bath & blow drys are sometimes available on the day you call , they include a massaging shower in high quality shampoos and conditioner free from any nasty ingredients (and fragrance free if required ) a free nail trim , groom out of loose fur , you can add on fringe, pads and/or sanitary area trim for a little extra cost , in the winter the towels are even warm for when they get out of bath 🐾

With great sadness to write this , we have lost another one of our old friends , Wilson 💔
Wilson was every groomers dream dog , well mannered , stood to perfection and always wagging his tail or looking for a hidden tennis ball ,

Three balls of ear fluff😄 , this came off three separate dogs , Cockapoo’s that owners believed by the breeders don’t loose any fur at all , so you can imagine how much they can loose over their entire body , but some might say , “we don’t see any fur on the carpets so we don’t need to brush “ All dogs loose hair even poodles and poodle mixed breeds and if it’s not groomed out regular matting will occur .
In tightly curled coats the dead hair will collect within each coil , tighten and become painful to brush out resulting in a dog becoming reluctant to be brushed . Daily grooming is essential to keep curly coated and double coated breeds knot free . For tools to use and how to use them just ask when you arrive , I can video your own dog being brushed to show you the best methods for each individual .
We recommend to keep your poodle mix breeds to be professionally groom every 4-6 weeks to keep on top and have a nice fluffy trim , or every 8 for shorter maintenance grooms 😊

Fast approaching her 17th year this little sassy lady Phobe Taylor still won’t keep still for a photo 😆, I totally adore my old timers , they certainly keep me on my toes 🩷

Keeping them nice and cool on their grooms , fans are on, all doors and windows open for a breeze ( very secure garden at rear shaded by trees most of day ) and in the summer we use a safe area at the side of house which is shaded from sun if they wish to go out while they wait to be collected or to go potty , so I think everyone here is coping fine with the hotter days while here 😊

Protect your dogs coat in the heat 🐾

Young Cockapoo Millie had a short summer trim yesterday in good time for this warm weather🩷
If you’re going short please remember to keep your dog out of lots of sun and heat to protect that new hair growth from drying out and causing sun burn , or worse heat stroke . You can also buy sun screen online and in some pet shops 🐾
