Rhanna and Bria joined for their holidays on Friday first one without little Murk 🥺. We headed out for a sunny walk and they were ready for a chilled evening. After a lazy morning we headed out for a big walk and we were happy to have some extra company. Safe to say we were all knackered by the time we got home and we had a very chilled evening. Another sunny walk on Sunday but we didn't go to far as they were feeling the heat and they spent the afternoon out in the garden. Such happy cuddly girls they are. They headed off home this morning 🐶🐾🐾

Bud had a busy day on Monday. Out a walk in the morning after a snooze. Lots of sniffing and a dip to cool down. Then out and about visiting in the afternoon and evening and he makes himself at home wherever we go. Tuesday morning mabel arrived. First thing she found was some stinking animal 💩 and decided to roll on it 🤣 so it was shower time I think you can tell what she thought of that by the look on her face. After we got organised we headed out for our walk. They were both feeling the heat so were quite happy to chill in the garden in the afternoon. We said goodbye to mabel and bud had a quiet evening. One in one out on Wednesday bud headed home and mabel joined for the day. We went out a long walk and missed the rain and she crashed out in the afternoon before she headed home. Hamish joined for the day today. We had a lovely sunny walk and headed into elgin. Hamish made sure all the birds stayed out the garden and chasing the shadows and he loves a good roll 🤣 we definitely made the most of being out in the sun as we've spent the afternoon indoors away from the rain. He's off home a tired happy boy 🐶🐾🐾🐾

Back to normality as I welcomed Betty and Jasper for their holidays. Summer is still holding on and we've enjoyed our walks and they have both been happy pottering about in the afternoon. Jasper loves a chase game so he was delighted when we went to visit davina and Buddy. Safe to say they were both wiped out by time we got home. Buddy joined us for his holidays on Sunday. Sunny walk and an afternoon spent chilling in the garden while the boys played me and betty sat and watched. All happy dogs. We've said goodbye to Betty and Jasper this morning but not before Jasper and Buddy a romp about. Buddy has crashed out but sure he'll be ready to get going soon 🐶🐾🐾🐾

A sad start back from holidays as I announce the passing of Murk. It was the wee old manny's time to go but it never makes it any easier. He just fitted right in from the moment he came here. He never left you in any doubt when he needed something 🤣. Most dogs like being indoors on colder days but not Murk whatever the weather he'd be happiest lying outside sound asleep. But when forced to be indoors he was always in his favourite spot in the conservatory. You only got cuddles on his terms but they got more often as the years went by. He loved a mucky puddle and eating snow was also a firm favourite thing to do. If he got a ball though there was no chance of getting it off him even lifted off the ground he would not give it up 🤣. He was such a character and just the happiest little soul. Even on his last holiday when I knew it was coming to the end his wee tail would be wagging when I'd say he was a good boy 🥺. He'll always be the little old man of the gang and he'll be sorely missed but most of all by his furry companions Rhanna and Bria and his owners. Thoughts are with the people who loved him the most quirks and all. Rest easy Murky boy the world will be a little less bright without you in it 🐶❤️🐾🐾🐾

On Wednesday Ginny joined me for her holidays. We enjoyed a lovely sunny walk out visiting and she was happy for a lazy afternoon/evening. Hamish joined us for a sleepover on Thursday so ginny was delighted to see him. We headed out our walk but didn't time it well as the thunder started rumbling and we got soggy. Poor Hamish is very noise sensitive so he had to go back on the lead as he really didn't like the thunder. Rhanna, Bria and Murk joined as at lunchtime it was such a hot afternoon so they all just lazed about. Although in true Hamish fashion he wanted to empty a water bucket. Hamish and the girls went out for a walk later once it cooled down murk doesn't need a walk anymore so ginny stayed behind with him. Early morning walks on Friday and everyone was happy to crash out. We said goodbye to Hamish and the girl gang and Murk had a quiet evening. We said goodbye to Rhanna, Bria and Murk yesterday morning and ginny had a walk before it got to warm. She headed home last night. I'm now on holiday any messages will be replied to when I can. Thank you all for keeping me so busy 🐶🐾🐾🌞

Last day for mabel on Monday. A cuddled up morning and we headed out our walk and got home and curled up before the worst of the wind and rain started to hit. Thankfully she wasn't bothered by it and had a very chilled afternoon before she headed home. I'm now having sometime off before more guests arrive next week 🐶🐾🐾🐾

On Wednesday the boys headed up to Sheilmuir. Gilly had a blast and Ben was happy following him and having a sniff. Jura stays on lead because he has to take things easier at the moment but he's quite happy pottering at a slower pace. Ben had an oops moment as he followed gilly into a bog 🤣 so I had to rescue him and it was straight to the pond after that. A lazy afternoon before we said goodbye to gilly and jura in the evening. On Thursday Hamish joined us for the day and Mabel joined for her holidays. It was abit of a miserable day so we got out our walk did some visiting and had a lazy afternoon in doors. Ben and mabel had a walk Friday morning before seren joined us at lunchtime after a wee snooze we headed out another walk and they all crashed out in the evening. It was a beautiful afternoon yesterday as we headed up to Sheilmuir again. Mabel and seren had crazy zooms and swimming adventures together Ben stayed well away from and water and bogs this time and was happy doing his own thing. Safe to say they were very tired dogs once we got home. We missed the rain this morning and had a lovely sunny walk before seren went home at lunchtime. Ben and mabel are having a lazy afternoon before Ben goes home later. If the weather forecast is anything to go by I don't think mabel will be going to far tomorrow 🐶🐾🐾🐾
