Four sleeps till Halloween, and this one's costume is already sorted. 🎃🐾

The clocks go back tonight, which means from tomorrow the evening walk happens in the dark, in the rain, through whatever the field has turned into.

The good news is the bit after the walk hasn’t changed. Robe on at the door, kettle on, and by the time you’ve had your tea the dog is dry and warm and not leaving a damp outline on the sofa.

Five months of muddy evenings. We’re ready if you are.

Quick one for your coffee break. How many dogs can you count in this photo?

Every single one of them is wearing a Dogrobe, on the lawn at Gordon Castle. Big ones, tiny ones, fluffy ones and at least one who clearly had other plans...

People ask why a Dogrobe has no leg holes.

Anyone who’s tried to fold a soaking Labrador’s front leg into a sleeve at 7am already knows.
Leg holes mean wrestling. Straps mean buckles under a muddy belly. Both mean a dog who sees the coat coming and leaves.

Our Dogrobes go over the head, the ties wrap round, and you tie a bow. That’s it. Nothing to thread, nothing to rub under the legs, nothing to pull wet fur through. Most dogs stand still for it, and a lot of them start waiting by the hook.

Be honest in the comments: is putting a coat on your dog a quick job or a full wrestling match?

People ask why we’ve never switched to Velcro. Three reasons.

It fills with hair and mud and stops gripping by the second winter. It catches on ears, feathering and long coats. And it rips open every time your dog shakes.

A tie is a tie. It goes on snug, it stays on, and it’s still working after two hundred washes. Boring, we know. Boring is what you want at 7am in the rain.

Wellies off. Robe on.

Autumn walks mean wet paws, muddy legs and a dog who's had the best morning of their life.

Our Dogrobes take care of what comes after. They soak up the water and keep them warm while they dry off by the door, so they're dry before they're anywhere near the sofa!

Dogs don't dread October. They've been waiting for it all year.

Leaf piles, puddles, long cool walks, wet grass at 7am and still wet at 4pm. Your dog's best month. Your sofa's worst.

That's what a Dogrobe is for. Wet dog in, thirty minutes, dry dog out. Let them have the leaves.

It’s 🥕🇬🇧

A day to celebrate one of the nation’s favourite veg and the British farmers who grow it. We know a thing or two about making things here rather than shipping them in, so we’re very happy to join in.

Our orange Dogrobes have been waiting all year for this. Show us your dogs and their carrots (bonus points for a Dogrobe) and tag us. We’ll share our favourites over the weekend.

British grown carrots, British made robes. With thanks to British Carrot Growers Association 🧡🍃🙌

It's Friday. Your dog has already checked the forecast and decided the weekend is happening regardless...

Have a good one. Give them an extra lap for us!
