British Working Protection Dogs A Legion of K9 Warriors, Trainers, Handlers & Decoys

We are a non profit organisation. All profits are distributed to help British Military Veterans and Retired Military Dogs. Non military dogs who are in need of support are also helped.

We are a membership based association with an annual membership fee.

Membership application is invited from honourable people who own a protection dog or dogs, have the welfare of dogs at heart, are keen to improve their handling skills and the skills of their dogs, wish to associate with like minded people, wish to support British Military Veterans, wish to support retired military K9s, wish to support us in saving dogs from unfortunate circumstances. Members are entitled to attend our various events and shows and to have access to our training and certification programs plus our merchandise.

We provide an honourable, structured and graded training and operating system for protection dogs, trainers, handlers and decoys. Members are eligible to enter our British K9 Warriors Competitions, Demonstrations and Events.

Eligibility: ALL MEMBERS AND THEIR PROTECTION K9 ARE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO AN ASSESSMENT/COURSE BEFORE BEING CONSIDERED FOR MEMBERSHIP

ASSESSMENT/COURSES ARE RUN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR BY APPOINTMENT

British K9 Warriors provides a structured Training Programme and a Grading System for Protection K9’s (similar to Martial Arts). British K9 Warriors are graded White Collar to Black Collar and may be graded higher. We provide:- K9: Assessment, Training, Certification, Competitions

Handler: Training, Certification (various levels)

Decoy: Training, Certification (various levels)

British K9 Warriors is the Protection K9 branch of The British K9 Association.
