We’re still looking for someone to work (part time) at the kennels over the summer holidays.
The role involves caring for dogs in a boarding environment, including cleaning kennels, feeding, and providing general animal care. Relevant experience and animal-related qualifications are beneficial, but not always required.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and maintaining kennels, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for the animals.
Feeding and watering animals according to schedule and dietary requirements.
Providing exercise and playtime for the animals, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
Observing and reporting any changes in animal behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
Assisting with animal handling and restraint when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with animal care, particularly dogs, is desirable.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
A caring and compassionate attitude towards animals.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic animal first aid knowledge (training may be provided).
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
