Last year our raffle raised thousands of pounds that was desperately needed for Missing Pets, Dundee and Angus.

If you have anything at all that you could donate, it can be dropped off at our shop.

Here’s hoping this year is even bigger and better!

If anyone has anything they could donate for raffle prizes, ie, unwanted alcohol, unopened toiletries, unwanted gifts, these can be handed into the pet food store, kilspindie road, Dunsinane estate please, where staff will gratefully receive them.. 🙏

🐾 We’re Proud to Support Missing Pets, Dundee and Angus 🐾

We support them as often as we can — the work they do is nothing short of incredible.

One shining example is Leila 💛

This gorgeous girl was rescued and found her forever home with Pete about 16 months ago. Not long after arriving, she managed to escape and spent several days on the run, tracked tirelessly by Missing Pets volunteers. Thankfully, she was safely caught and reunited — but the experience left her traumatised.

For six months, Leila wouldn’t leave the kitchen. But with patience, love, and time, she’s grown in confidence — and just this week, she reached a big milestone: she made her first visit to our shop!

We’re so proud of her — and so grateful to everyone who helped bring her home. ❤️

All pitch fees and proceeds go directly to Missing Pets Dundee & Angus, and we’ll be running our biggest-ever grand prize raffle with loads of amazing prizes up for grabs!

Look how excited we are to tell you that Nutriment Gently Steamed is back in stock!!

Stocks are being rushed out as fast as it is being produced and across the next few weeks we will be receiving many deliveries.

Beef should be with us at some point in the next week, until then we have Chicken, Lamb, Duck, Senior and Puppy.

We’re expecting stock levels to return to normal very soon, but in the meantime, we kindly ask customers to limit purchases to 20 trays per visit to help make sure everyone gets what they need.

🎄Deck the paws Christmas Market 🎄
In aid of raising funds for vital equipment for Missing Pets, Dundee and Angus

Following last year's resounding success, we're thrilled to announce the return of our festive Christmas Market (Deck the Paws) at The Pet Food Store, an independent, family-owned gem located right here in Dundee.

We're eagerly extending an invitation for you to join us with your own stand, making this event a delightful experience for families and their pets, while also offering a fantastic opportunity to promote your business.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 29th November 2025
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: The Pet Food Store Dundee (in our car park)
Pitch Fee: A donation to Missing Pets Dundee & Angus on the day, to aid in the purchase of vital equipment to help find missing pets in our community. You can decide how much to donate.
Please Note:

Vendors need to bring their own setup (tables, gazebos, etc.).

We have some good news, we have just been notified that our delivery of Gently Steamed is being readied for dispatch!

It should be back in stock next week, we will let you all know when it finally arrives.

We have ordered a small mountain of the stuff and will be receiving it all over the next 3-4 weeks.

Don't worry, we will keep you all posted and contact everyone personally who has asked for it.

We’d like to introduce you to our new Store Manager - Victoria!

It’s a well deserved promotion and is a reflection of the hard work, effort and skills that she has brought to the job over the last three and a half years.

She did point blank refuse to have her picture taken though unless it was alongside a puppy, so here she is with little Ozzy ❤️

Here’s to many more years of us helping you all with your pet nutrition needs. 🦴
