Just a wee update on the 🐸🐸🐸 enclosure. 4.5 weeks apart.

The plants have been growing so quickly, and they're now covering most of the ground. 🌿
I'm still on the lookout for Ficus pumila (creeping fig) so it can climb up the natural cork background..
I have to admit, I was never a big fan of amphibians, but I'm definitely getting more and more into frogs! 🐸😀

Another addition from the IHS Show – 0.0.3 Golden Mantellas! 🐸✨
We've never kept amphibians here at H**p Exotic before, so we're a little nervous! These incredible frogs require strict dietary and environmental management, with very specific temperature, humidity, and feeding requirements.
One of the most fascinating things about amphibians is that they absorb substances directly through their skin, including oils, lotions, and other residues from human hands. Their skin is highly permeable, which makes them very sensitive to their environment.
For that reason, Golden Mantellas are definitely a "look but don't touch" pets.
We're looking forward to learning more about these amazing frogs and providing them with the best possible care. Stay tuned for updates on their journey with us! 🐸💛

Here are a few of the latest additions we brought back from the IHS Show😀
Mourning geckos...
One of them managed to escape while I was moving them into the vivarium. They're incredibly tiny and surprisingly fast!
They are busy chasing fruit flies atm😍
