Our Green Team strike again with a wonderful community project idea 🌱🌱

Rather than throwing items away and ending up in landfill …..
Today 10 bags/boxes of items and clothing, no longer wanted by the Blacks Vets team were taken to Wild Acre Rescues Charity shop in Cradley Health to help raise money for their animal rescue.

We are so pleased with the amount of donations we managed to collect and we really hope they can help to raise a great amount of money to look after the animals that need a home 🐶🐾🐱

We understand that a recent news article has been released about a pet crematorium and their concerning conditions which has caused stress and questions amongst the public.

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure all of our clients that we have no relation to this company. We use CPC, a company based in Tewkesbury who we know, provide the best care for our beloved pets.

We are more than happy to answer any questions on this matter and we hope this clarfies and brings our clients confidence and reassurance during this understandably stressful time.

Pet Blood Bank need your help! 🐾🐾

Pet Blood Bank provide a vital service, aiding us to look after your pets. Unfortunately, their blood stocks are currently running very low.
If you’ve ever thought about registering your dog to be a donor, now is the time. Details are all included in the post below from Pet Blood Bank.

This is one of those posts we never like having to make... but we really need your help 💔

Our blood stocks are currently critically low, and we're concerned about the number of appointments booked over the coming weeks 😓

Summer is always a difficult time, with holidays and busy schedules meaning fewer dogs come forward to donate. Unfortunately, emergencies and illnesses don't stop for summer 🚨

Right now, we urgently need more lifesavers to come forward 🩸

If you've ever thought about registering your dog to become a blood donor... this is your sign. We need amazing people who can spare just an hour of their day to help save lives ❤️

To be a lifesaver, your dog must be:
🎂 between 1 and 8 years old
⚖️ weigh over 25kg
🐶 fit, healthy, and confident

Please consider booking an appointment at a donation session near you soon. We really need you and your wonderful dog to come along and make a lifesaving difference 🙏

If you're already booked in, please keep your appointment if at all possible. We know the warm weather can be a concern, but we have measures in place to keep donor dogs cool, comfortable, and safe throughout their visit!

Over the month of May we’ve been celebrating Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month here at Blacks!
One of our lead nurses Luke created a lovely board for all members of staff to share messages about how amazing our nurses, student nurses and patient care assistants really are!
Our nursing team then got to tuck into some sweet treats in celebration.

We have one truly brilliant nursing team, who are so skilled and passionate about looking after your pets!
