Handmade in East Yorkshire

When I founded Distinctive Pets in 2016, I wanted to be able to offer products that were different. Recently I have started to create items that are durable and beautiful. Each of the embroidered vinyl poo bags holders and treat bags are crafted right here by me.

Why vinyl? It's wipe-clean, weather resistant and holds it's shape through many a muddy spring walk. Our animal themed cushions bring that same love for pets into your home decor. No mass production, just thoughtful items for owners who appreciate the "distinctive" things in life.

The Pooch's Roast Dinners have arrived and I managed to hide them from Molly, Rosie & Peanut - otherwise they would have insisted on taste testing!!!

We are bringing the brand new Roast Dinner and Fish & Chips treat boxes to the Farmer's Market tomorrow.

Something tasty is landing at Distinctive Pets this week ! 🐾📦

We've just restocked with the popular Pooch's Dog Treats, and they've outdone themselves. The ultimate doggy dinner with 4 varieties to choose from.

The embroidery machine hasn't stopped all morning. ⚡

I'm currently busy in the workshop prepping a fresh batch of our hand embroidery poo bag holders for our very first show of the season.

We'll be at the brand new Sledmere Farmers Market on Saturday 4th April, and I want to make sure the stall is bursting with colour. 🌹

From our silent, clatter-free vinyl holders to our waterproof-lined treat bags, everything is being stitched right here in East Yorkshire. There's nothing quite like the feeling of a "fresh-off-the-machine" design.

As we look forward to the Easter Break (and our trip to Sledmere), a quick reminder to all you dog & horse parents. ⚠ 🐣

Spring is beautiful, but it brings a few hidden dangers:

1️⃣ Chocolate: but it brings a few hidden dangers.
2️⃣ Hot Cross Buns: Raisins are a no-go for dogs.
3️⃣ Lush grass: Watch out for the "Spring Flush" if you have a pony prone to laminitis.
