Here at TC's forever home we adopt those cats who are considered 'too old', 'not pretty enough' or are disabled or sick. We do not re-home them, instead we give them their forever home with us on a beautiful old farmhouse in the country. Prior to starting our forever home, most of the cats we had already adopted were elderly, sick or unwanted and so we decided to start our sanctuary in order to gi

ve more of these sorts of cats their forever home. We always prioritise the physical, emotional and mental well-being of each cat that comes to live with us as often they have had a tough journey before we find them. We work hard to integrate each newcomer in to the family and ensure they have their own space should they want it.

Panic this morning with my big man Darwin. He didn't get up for breakfast and when I went to get him he was very floppy in my arms. His eyes were very sunken in and he was showing signs of dehydration. This has come on suddenly as he was fine last night. Rushed to our vet where he saw Olivia. After running bloods ot appears the big man is fighting some kind of infection so he is staying in on fluids and getting antibiotics. I can't thank our awesome vet Olivia at enough for getting the blood results so quickly as I was panicking in case he'd ingested some kind of toxin outside. Hopefully our hero will back home tomorrow. On a brighter note, wee Angee had a check up this morning and thankfully despite banging her face countless time on the floor, she has no damaged teeth and is fighting fit 😁

All of us at Tc's want to thank each and every person who so kindly and generously donated to our vet bill. From Just Giving, PayPal & cash donations, you raised a whopping Β£2,392!!!! Mark and I are so grateful to have such incredible supporters. This has taken a huge weight off of us and we hope you know we do not take for granted everyone who continues to support us. You guys, , are the best.
Obviously a massive thanks to our incredible vet team, for all they do for us, we'd be lost without you all.
