A few appointments have become available before the weekend. 12pm on Wednesday and 12.30 on Friday for 2 small dogs. And we are opening late on Saturday night so a 6pm and 7pm appointment on Saturday evening is also available.

Can I ask anyone that brings their dog in for a groom to please please please make sure your dog is up to date with their flea treatment.
We've seen a few in the last few weeks come in with fleas.
Not only does this hold us back. The extra cost involved can be avoided.
1. We have to bathe your dog in flea shampoo sometimes once isn't enough.
2. Any other dogs in the salon at the time are at risk. Even long after the dog has gone.
3. We then have to spray all equipment and area with expensive flea spray.
4. If a dog is booked in shortly after. That groom has to be postponed or cancelled until a thorough clean is done.
This inconveniences not only us groomers but customers also.
Before we leave we have to let flea bombs off to make sure all are gone.

Now your probably say but this will happen right....
Flea bombs £8 each
Spray £16 a can
Groom cancel £38
Flea shampoo £10 (normal average £3)
So that one dog with fleas has cost the salon-£80 for that day.
Again please keep flea treatment up to date.

Christmas booking's are starting to fill up. Book now to avoid disappointment. We are closing on Sat 20th of December until Tuesday 6th of January.

We have seen an increase in severely matted dogs coming into the salon lately. Can I ask if you are booking a matted dog in to let us know in advance. A matted dog doesn't take the standard 1hr groom slot. On 3 occasions we've been held back up to 2 hrs over our time to groom a matted dog.
Not only is it time consuming it blunts put blades and scissors with one groom and they are not cheap to replace.
If booking on line booking the matting fee slot along with your booking so other customers are held back also.

Say Hi Finlay, Cheddar, Sprout and mummy Gizmo. All in for their pamper today. How did I get them to all look at the camera at the same time?
Tried everything. Squeaky toys treat and no. Pretending to choke and they stare at me. Lol. But hey it worked.

Penney worked hard today booking in dogs and greeting customers. A groomers receptionist is a hard job.
We've a few appointments become available next week if anyone would like to get their dogs booked in.
