Our Top Dogs - On the Train course is over halfway through now, with visits to Knowle, Barston, Dorridge Train station - and a trip to Tudor Grange Park on the train under our belts and collars!

The dogs have been doing so well and benefiting from socialising with the same dogs each week and using each other as a crutch in novel situations like the train journey, meeting a bunch of alpacas or dipping their feet in a stream for the first time.

We are launching a new Top Dogs course with adventures to be had in Kenilworth, Hatton, Hampton-in-Arden and Henley-in-Arden, plus a visit to a garden centre and a short bus ride.

Join us on a Wednesday evening at 8.15pm for 6 weeks from June 17th. There are still a couple of places left if you want to join Bella, Jackson, Olive, Loki and Rory on their summer travels 🌞

Let’s celebrate all of our 2026 Young Pups who have cracked their obedience and smashed their socialisation by starting early!

We have a new 6 week course starting next Tuesday evening at 18.20pm at the Oliver Bird Hall in Solihull.

There are two places left so grab them while you can and don’t leave your pup’s training too late - the earlier you can socialise them and the earlier you instill good habits, the better in the long run!

We are dog trainers with the IMDT and practice positive reinforcement and reward based training.

Join us for some Puppy Socialisation fun and games at our 1pm Friday lunchtime sessions at Vets4Pets Solihull. It’s £55 for 3 x 1 hr sessions to expose your pups to other pups of different breeds, meet an adult dog in a managed setting, Reward4Noises, desensitisation practice and learn lots of new handling techniques to help you manage your new pup safely in a clean veterinary environment. Our next Young Pups Obedience and Socialisation course starts on May 19th at 18.20pm and runs for 6 weeks. Happy New Year from us all at Animal Kind Dog Training & Behaviour! Hope your break was as good as ours?

Luna and I (Helen) tripped off to Dorset and East Devon to see the sea and catch up with friends - and managed to catch some gorgeous winter weather and views at Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door.

Classes have resumed since 6th January and we are as busy as ever.

We have Pup socialisation this Friday at 1pm at Vets4Pets in Solihull, a new Young Pups course starting next Tuesday evening 27th January (fully booked) and a new 6 wk course starting February 24th plus a new 8 wk Tweenies and Rescue Obedience course starting on February 18th. We hope you have enjoyed your classes!

Puppy Socialisation and Young Pups Obedience and Socialisation have been super busy the last 8 months and we have had some fun with the Tweenies, Teens and Top Dogs courses too! Here’s hoping our 121 clients have benefited greatly from some training and behavioural support.

I am off for a break now. 🍸 🍫 🎁 🎄 Chris is already one week ahead of me!

Have a great time with your pooches. Get lots of lovely walks in, shower them with gifts and be careful of those chocolates and mince pies! Up high and out of reach 😉
