Had a customer who was looking for a dog groomer who had just moved into the area so as a good gesture I said I would groom her retriever. She asked me to tidy, bath and deshed, not to clip her something I would never do.
She asked me if I would be fininshed before 12 as she was going to a baby shower I said yes.
Anyway to cut along story short she messaged me to tell me her partner was dropping the dog off as she was looking after 6 children.
Could she pay by card unfortunately not as I don't have a card machine. "That's ok I will ask him to get cash from somewhere"
Dog comes I do the usual I have been doing for the last 15 years tidied the tail as it was dragging on the floor and tidied the feathers on her front legs. cleaned the feet and found a grass seed which I mentioned to her partner. Cleaned out the ears.
Literally partner leaves my house at 10.41.51, at 10.53 the abuse starts, I have cut her tail and feathers, blah blah blah, wouldn't have paid me if she had picked the dog up, "If I don't give her her money back she will give me a bad review.
I was not going to give the money back all my years of dog grooming I have NEVER had someone so rude or as I see it trying to BLACKMAIL me for a free groom. Anyway she has given me a bad review, unfortunately for her I don't need her as a customer but if she wants a groomer who doesn't send the dog back looking tidy and smart she isn't a customer for me anyway.
I honestly believe if I had sent Angel back not tided up and smart I would have had a bad review just another keyboard warrior out for a FREEBIE!!!!!!!!!
