Warm weather can be tough on our furry companions! Here are some tips to help keep everyone cool as possible!
Ps don't forget we have lots of items like cool mats, pools, cool toys and there favourite treats in store to help!

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬 & 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬
🐾Cooling mats or vests
🐾Frozen treats like dog friendly ice cream or your own frozen treats placed in ice trays
🐾Plenty of shade so keep them out of direct sun
🐾Paddling pools
🐾Fans a breeze helps
🐾Walks during cooler times only like first thing in the morning and late evening
🐾Fresh water to drink

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬
🐾Keep their enclosures in shaded areas
🐾Place frozen treats like veg in ice trays in their hutch to eat
🐾Cooling pads/frozen water bottle for them to sit on or lay near
🐾Never submerge your small furry pet in full water as can cause shock
🐾Always make sure all pets have direct access to fresh water at all times!

The Dog House next to Didcot Pet Store has lots of natural treats in right now with some new items like sow ears, ostrich bones, deer leg, buffalo an lamb skin and of coarse the favourites to like chicken feet and rabbit ears.
