It will really help to go towards our rather large vet bills over the last few months. We have had many poorly cats and kittens. 3 kittens needed eyes removed, lots of dentals for the older cats and lots of neutering too.

SAD RICK

This young lad was a stray. He was taken to the vets, where they scanned him for a microchip. But no microchip was found and he was not neutered. They also blood tested him and it turns out he is FIV positive.

The person who found him then contacted us for a rescue space as no one else would take him. His fate was very uncertain and he was at risk of being euthanised. We couldn't let this happen.

He is just a very scared young man. He has now been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We would love to find him a quiet home, somewhere he can get his confidence and learn to trust us humans more. He is a nice boy, he does not hiss, bite or swipe out at you. Such a gorgeous little lad that deserves a chance.

It may seem that all the rescues are just full of kittens at the moment (which they are), but there are also lots of cats like Rick that we help too.

They all deserve a home. So please do send us an email at [email protected] if you think you can offer him the home he needs.

AND MORE KITTENS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME!

We are based in Mattishall, Norfolk

So we have rehomed over 40 kittens in the last few months, which is a fantastic amount. We do still have a few of the "older" kittens looking for a home. They are gorgeous and so playful......all are black and black/white.

We now have the next "batch" of young kittens ready for a new home..... here are some photos of some of them. They are about 10-12 weeks old. They have all been neutered and had their vaccinations, microchipped and treated for fleas/worms. We are looking to rehome them in pairs as they need that company.

TWO SEASONS IN A DAY IN THE OLDIES VILLAGE....

It's beautiful weather today - still Summer really. However, the lovely colours on the trees behind the Oldies Village remind us that Autumn is on the way.

Misty and Meeko are making the most of a relaxing lounge together in the sun!🌞

JUST THE JOB.......CREATED BY BOB!!

Visitors to the farm will have seen how neat and tidy the grounds and garden look. Bob is part of our maintenance and gardening team of volunteers who do a fabulous job.

Bob has built this nifty little trailer to transport the garden waste to the bonfire site at the bottom of the field. Very impressed!

We're so lucky to have such good volunteers- all doing their bit to keep the rescue centre on track. 👏 👏

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING SO PATIENTLY......

Hello everyone, we are Laurel and Dale, two young female friends who have been in the rehoming area for over a year now.
We were very shy when we first arrived but we soon struck up a friendship and this has given us more confidence and comfort.
We are much happier around people now, but we will still need time to fully adjust to life in a home.
Our ideal "pad" will be a quiet home with no young children and with patient owners who can continue to help with our confidence building.
We do love to lounge outside, so after a period of getting used to our new home, we would love to explore a safe garden.
Is there anyone who would be willing to give us a chance please?
