IS THERE A NEW HOME OUT THERE FOR LOVELY BARNABY ......?

This handsome boy is Barnaby.
He surprised us all a couple of months ago when he used his very own "self check in service" and turned up at Venture Farm in one of the outdoor enclosures!
We took him into the main building and he was booked in at the vets. He was very nervous and scared and when checked he was not neutered or microchipped. He was also covered in ticks, poor boy.
He's now had the full works and is in one of our rehoming rooms. He's still quite timid- but he's getting there!
It would be lovely to find him a quiet and caring home with owners who will allow him time to continue gaining confidence. He seems to get on ok with the other cats, so could be homed with another cat. He likes to spend time outside, so a new home with safe outdoor space where he could eventually explore is essential.

WORLD CUP ARRIVES IN OLDIES VILLAGE.....

Baxter has been tasked with organising the Oldies Village fanzone and sweepstake.

Well, he tells us the draw has been done and he has drawn England, France, Spain and Brazil! Hmmmm, that seems rather lucky Baxter!!

His Oldies friends may not have been so fortunate. Here's a few other teams:

WHAT A LOVELY DAY..........

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us at our Summer Fayre yesterday.
We had a great day and raised a total amount of £8220.53!! We are so appreciative of the generosity of you all.
A big thank you to all our amazing volunteers who helped make the day such a success - and a special thanks to wonderful Jules who produced all the delicious refreshments- and The Assembly House who kindly donated the ingredients.
We will be contacting the raffle prize winners soon.

We've had another brilliant team of Aviva employees on a workplace volunteer day today.
They've done a great job helping us get everything looking smart ready for the Open Day on Sunday. The weather was not great but that didn't stop them! Thank you team!
