On Sunday evening I witnessed a horrific attack on a small terrier, out walking on his lead, by an off lead, out of control XL bully. The sound won't leave me for a long time and went on for minutes.
I heard yesterday that the little dog didn't make it. The XL bully has finally been seized.
My thoughts are with the family of the terrier who have lost a very much loved member in such a horrendous way. I can't imagine what they're going through.
Even though multiple people rang the police that evening, they didn't attend. They were also informed on exactly where the dog was residing but it took until yesterday for it to be seized.
There was also a "near miss" with the same XL attempting to attack another dog last friday when it escaped the house again. Thank goodness for the quick reaction of the owner, it wasn't successful.
An evening stroll with his humans and he didn't make it home.
Totally heartbreaking 💔
