💡 WE HAVE LIGHTS!!!!! 💡
The tanks are slowly coming together, and we honestly can’t wait to get some new inhabitants swimming around in them! 🐟😍
But before we could even think about adding fish, we needed to make sure the water was safe and ready for its new residents. 💧
So, what did we use? 👇
🧪 Dechlorinator
To remove chlorine and chloramines from the water, making it safe for fish. Which can also kill beneficial bacteria. So makesure to treat your water changes as well.
🦠 Bacteria Introduction
To help establish the beneficial bacteria needed to create a healthy, stable aquarium ecosystem.
🔬 Water Testing
Even though test strips aren't the most accurate way of measuring your water parameters, they're a quick, easy and uncomplicated way of getting a rough idea of what's happening in your aquarium.
For the most accurate results, we recommend using a liquid testing kit — which is exactly what we've used here. 🧪
Getting the water right is one of the most important steps when setting up an aquarium, so we're taking our time to make sure everything is just right before introducing any fish. ❤️
