I don't know if anyone remembers, but this time last year we rescued a little Shih Tzu called Benson.

Not long after coming to us, we discovered that Benson had a liver shunt. He was so poorly that I had him booked in to be put to sleep, as we truly believed there was no other option.

But Benson had other plans.

After a huge operation, lots of specialist care, and a long recovery journey, look at him now! 💙

Today, Benson is a happy, healthy, energetic boy living life exactly as he should be. Watching him run around, play, and enjoy every day is something we never take for granted.

We're so grateful to everyone who supported him along the way, and so proud of how far he's come. What a difference a year can make. ✨

Go on, Benson! 🐾

Louis can get a little nervous for his grooms, especially when it comes to his feet and legs 🐾💙

But look at him today with Jazz… relaxed, enjoying the fuss, and soaking up all the love 🥹✨ Building trust takes time, patience, and lots of gentle reassurance, and we are so proud of how well Louis did today.

Every dog goes at their own pace, and moments like this make our hearts so happy 💕

☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️
Due to the temperatures tomorrow looking much the same as today, I may need to reschedule some appointments to make sure all of our doggies stay safe and comfortable. 🐾
I’ve just been to the salon and, at 11:30am, it’s currently 21°C in reception and 23°C in the grooming area, so with all the fans going we may be okay 🤞💗
I’ll continue to monitor things closely and keep everyone informed if any changes need to be made.
As always, the dogs’ welfare comes first 🐶💕
