Something was lurking at Vets for Pets Eastleigh and fortunately, it wasn't Dracula. 🦇

Just in time for Halloween, the team welcomed a male pipistrelle bat who had been found cold and dazed. Weighing just 12g, the team gave their tiny visitor a health check before contacting Bats Conservation Trust, who helped with his rehabilitation and getting him ready to continue on his way. Well done team 💚

Halloween is fun, but for some pets, it's a scary time. Even the calmest of pets can become spooked by costumes and masks. We're asking pet owners to keep them inside where possible and to double-check that their contact details are up to date in the event they become spooked and bolt.

Thank you to this wonderful customer, we were a bit blown away by her generosity 😘 and thank you to all our many other wonderful customers who continually donate to our Blue Cross UK / Food Bank Daventry food collection point helping local pet owners in our area 😍

We certainly are a nation that loves our animals! Thank you so much to the lady who wants to remain anonymous, who over the weekend purchased all of this pet food. She donated it to us at the Blue Cross donation point in Pets at Home. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. 🐶 😺

Who are we looking for?

😀People who are passionate about delivering great service.

😀Flexible. Due to the nature of working within a busy retail environment, we need you to have the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 7 days a week. You will receive a minimum contract of 16 hours, but you will often be required to work more hours to cover busy periods, absences, and holidays.

😀Have experience of working within a customer-facing environment.

😀You will have worked in a target driven environment, and happy to work in one.

😀Ready to take on 12 months of industry-leading training covering all the key aspects of the role, handling, and caring for Pets, Customer Service and Health and Safety.
