I’m sure many of you have had the delight of meeting Max, our new vet, but here’s a bit about him!

Max graduated from the royal veterinary college in the summer of 2025, and has since moved back down to the south west with his family to start his career as a veterinary surgeon. If you think you recognise Max - you probably do! He spent several weeks on placement here at Hamstone, getting stuck in with consults and procedures.

Max has a keen interest in both medicine and surgical cases and is excited to start building relationship with clients and animals alike. For as long as he can remember, Max has been involved with animals, from working on local farms as a child to aiding charity clinics in London during his studies, Max has always had a passion for all areas of animal care.

When not in practice, you will likely find Max on the football pitch, out running in the local countryside or playing golf. Max is kept on his toes by his three cats, and is keen to find a canine companion to join him out on his countryside adventures.

🎅 Hamstone Vets – Christmas Evening Drinks 🎅
We’d love to invite all our wonderful clients to join us for some festive drinks and cheer on Thursday 11th December at 7 pm, here at Hamstone Vets.

Come along to celebrate another year of caring for your pets, meet the team, and enjoy a relaxed evening with good company, light nibbles, and maybe even a few Christmas Carols✨

🐾 When: Thursday 11th December, 7 pm

📍 Where: Hamstone Vets (at the practice)

💚 Optional: Bring along a small donation for a local animal charity if you’d like to spread some extra festive kindness.

🐾 We’re delighted to welcome Kelly back from maternity leave!

Our ACPAT Chartered Physiotherapist is excited to return and can’t wait to see her clients (both furry and human) again! 🐾

Animal physiotherapy can help dogs of all ages – from supporting growing joints in young, active pups to easing stiffness and improving mobility in senior companions.

📅 Please contact reception to book an appointment. Referrals are required from your vet- our reception team will facilitate this. Most insurance companies will cover Physiotherapy, please check your individual policy for details.
