PAWFEST SATURDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER

Only a few days left until our big event we are getting really excited. It's an indoor event so no need to worry about what the weather is doing
Your Dobermann Judge for the day is Sarah Lafford a lovely lady and very experienced with the breed
Due to unforeseen circumstances our fun dog show judge has had to pull out so our very own Kennel Manager Danielle Considine has stepped in at the last minute, thank you Danielle x

Remi ❤️
2 year old Remi has been a lucky girl this week - she's been in foster care with two of our volunteers. Unfortunately they are back to work on Monday so she's coming back to kennels and we need to find her forever home.
Her foster mum was asked to sum her up in a sentence and she said "a massive heart with four legs and a tail" 😍😍😍
Remi adores people and would suit a home where she is not left for too long as she just loves snuggles and company. She has been brilliant out and about and has gained confidence since arriving with us. She's been on lots of long walks and to busy places which she has taken in her stride, although a little reticent and shy to begin with. Over the last couple of days she has become a bit shouty on her lead and has been reluctant to eat, but she's currently in season which may explain this. Beforehand she was absolutely fine with dogs out and about, even those running around off lead near to her.
She has been clean in the house apart from one accident and will happily jump off of a bed or sofa if asked. She loves her toys and playing games with you.
Remi can be startled by sudden noises and is quite a sensitive and undersocialised little girl so will need a calm home where any children are older than around 12. She has greeted visitors beautifully in her foster home and does enjoy attention and fuss (you get whacked with a paw if you stop stroking her!)
Her foster mum says cats are a no unfortunately!

Today we put Caesar to the test - he was introduced to our kennel manager's dogs, a female and a castrated male.
