Now that the dust has settled on yet another incredibly successful Dawlish Celebrates Carnival, we wanted, on behalf of Prosound Solutions (SW) Limited, to take a moment to pay particular attention to the countless performers, entertainers and presenters that we had the absolute pleasure of working with throughout what was an incredible week of entertainment.

From the very beginning, every single performer gave their absolute all, delivering some truly fantastic performances and creating countless memorable moments for the audiences who were lucky enough to catch them across the week!

There were so many standout performances, so many special moments and so many memories made once again — and we feel incredibly blessed to have been right at the heart of such a wonderful, feel-good event.

And what a way to bring the week to a close, with the incredible laser light show, brought to Dawlish by our friends at Inside Out Events. What a spectacular finale! ✨

A huge congratulations must also go to all of the organisers, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, supporters and everyone else who played their part in making Dawlish Celebrates Carnival happen.

We know first-hand just how much work, planning, preparation and sheer dedication goes on behind the scenes to deliver an event of this scale. Much of that work happens away from the spotlight, but it is what makes events like this possible.

You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. 👏

For our part, we are incredibly proud to have supported Dawlish Celebrates Carnival once again, providing the various sound systems across the event and helping to ensure that the incredible performers and presenters could be heard by the audiences they deserved.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of it — and congratulations to everyone involved. Together, we rise!

The premier motorsport venue in the South West of England. Visit Wiscombe Park to enjoy the speed and spectacle of hillclimb cars in competition. Always a good range of production and modified cars plus single seater race cars. Excellent viewing facilities for spectators.

What an incredible time we’ve had at the magnificent Buckfast Abbey!

It was a privilege for Prosound Solutions (SW) Limited to provide the sound production in support of Rock Choir South Devon • Choirs led by Richard Toomer as more than 340 Rockies took to the stage across the last two days…

Performing a fantastic medley of contemporary hits and legendary ballads, the choir captivated the audience with two truly spellbinding performances. Their passion, energy, and enthusiasm shone through from the very first note, creating an unforgettable atmosphere in one of the country's most breathtaking venues.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved for delivering on such a memorable event. We're proud to have played a part in helping bring such an outstanding performance to life.

🎪 What an incredible week at Chulmleigh Old Fair 2026! 🎪

Last week saw the team at Prosound Solutions (SW) Ltd once again proudly supporting one of Devon's longest-standing and most cherished community traditions – Chulmleigh Old Fair.

Our week began on Tuesday evening in Fore Street for the Official Opening of Chulmleigh Old Fair 2026, where visitors were treated to the traditional Penny Grab, children's races and fantastic entertainment from Crediton Samba Band, who stepped in at the eleventh hour to help entertain what appeared to be a record-breaking crowd. Their infectious energy certainly got the week off to a brilliant start!

On Wednesday, we were back in action for the ever-popular Village Fair and Sheep Show, incorporating the Dog Show, Vintage Vehicle Rally and a whole host of activities for families to enjoy. It was a wonderful day, made even more special by performances from pupils of Chulmleigh College and the ever-popular Sugar Maple String Band, who created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

While one of our PA systems was helping keep everyone informed during the annual Sport for All Day at Chulmleigh Playing Fields, another part of the team was busy preparing a separate sound system for the Horse Show & Gymkhana at Benley Cross ahead of Friday's events.

By Saturday afternoon, the whole team had reunited in Fore Street for an afternoon packed with entertainment. Visitors enjoyed wonderful displays from Border Line Morris, the ever-popular Fancy Dress Parade, prize giving, delicious cream teas and the traditional Skittles Final, all contributing to another fantastic community atmosphere.

As the afternoon gave way to the evening, the fun continued with children's entertainment, the Open Road Race around Chulmleigh and, of course, the legendary Street Party, bringing another memorable Old Fair Week to a fitting close.

Events like Chulmleigh Old Fair don't happen by chance. They rely on an incredible army of volunteers, organisers, sponsors and supporters who dedicate countless hours behind the scenes to preserve this wonderful tradition for future generations.

👏 To everyone involved – thank you. It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside you once again. You should all be immensely proud of what you've achieved. Chulmleigh Old Fair continues to go from strength to strength, and we're already looking forward to supporting you again next year!

🎉 Another fantastic community event! 🎉

It was a pleasure for the team at Prosound Solutions (SW) Ltd to support North Devon Homes with their Summer Fun Day at Park Community School.

What a brilliant day it was, bringing together local families and the community for a fun-filled event packed with activities, entertainment, and smiles all round. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the day and making lasting memories.

We were delighted to provide the professional sound system, ensuring that announcements, music and entertainment could be enjoyed by everyone throughout the event.

So many highlights, so many memories made, it was an incredible day and lovely to get another chance to work with our friends at Entertainingly Different one more time! Rob’s energy knows no bounds, and he brought a smile to everyone’s face who had the pleasure of meeting him on the day!

A huge thank you to ND Homes for inviting us to be part of such a well-organised community event, and to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the day such a success for all of your customers!
