Queenie’s Update 👑🐴 … So this week Dave has been long reining Queenie and working on her standing and walking as she wants to rush off & fidgets. We want Queenie to relax and take her time, learn there is no rush once she’s happier we will move onto sledging. Follow her progress with us. INKA UPDATE !! …. Firstly OMG how cold is it ?! 🥶 So a little update on Inka, this past week Dave has been doing lots and lots of long reining battling and dodging the ICY ❄️ Conditions and we have also introduced the sledge to Inka & as you can hear it’s very noisy behind her. Inka has been driven previously but rushed forwards and we are now going back to basics to allow Inka to take her time and learn not to rush off. We will also be doing some very light ridden schooling work with Inka with our rider Naomi starting next week. Stay tuned and see how she progresses. Meet Bea! Beautiful Bea 🐴is a 16.3 Irish Draft x Shire, she is 15 and arrived with us today. Bea has had an unsettled start until her current owner took her on who now loves her dearly where she has her forever home. Bea’s owner however would like to see if it is possible to break Bea to ride so with a combination of groundwork sessions with Dave & our rider Naomi who has a degree in Equine Behavioural Science we will see how she gets on! Meet Queenie!! 🐴 Queenie is a little beauty & has come to us at the Stud for some driven schooling. Sometimes ponies come to us who have been previously broken to drive but sometimes ponies are rushed when broken & this leads to problems such as rushing off, not standing still, constantly wanting to trot etc … We are going to take Queenie back to basics and take her slow and steady. Omg Christmas has come early to the Farm this year. Our sons dog has had 6 beautiful Springer Spaniel puppies. All girls !! 3 Black & White & 3 Liver & White. All looking for their new homes.
