WELL TRAVELED REX
Jasmine & Jamie (lillibets siblings) are on tour again from Cobh, Ireland to South of France with a whistle stop tour to Maystar HQ and taking in the sights of the Warwickshire countryside.

It is always a pleasure to see them and at 14years old this September they are doing really well and look amazing. Jamie is a plush short hair and Jazzy was showing off her smokey long haired coat.

Happily ensconced in their Land Cruiser, they only travel in first class style riding shotgun all the way to Saint-Tropez.

DONNA FAMILY UPDATE
Little Fatty Lamb Wife has been chasing Magpies and one of her brothers has unfortunately nobbled a baby one. Mum & Dad were not happy and chose Donna as their target for berating and chasing her around the garden. said perhaps they saw her as fair game on account of her markings and that he had never seen a cat running away from birds before.

This morning we made tuna water licks and miamor squares, froze them and served them up at lunchtime to get fluid into the Rexes on such a hot day. Always a summer hit!

EROS UPDATE
He had his vaccinations on Thursday with no ill effects. We had to continue with the 2.5mg of steroid because last month, we tried to drop it, ready for his vaccinations and he became PICA again and made himself quite poorly thus, not able to have the vaccine.

So still on 2.5mg steroid, Famotidine and Metoclopromide daily, he is maintaining a lovely 3.6k consistently and showed off his long lanky body to Vet Sally who adored kissing him and patting his bum to get extra purrs. She commented how luxurious he felt and just how confident and loving he was now he is feeling well. Vet Sally should be very proud of her achievements with him.

Going forwards, we now have 1mg pills that we will give him two a day, reducing his amount by a mere 0.5mg at a time until we reach a satisfactory level. This will be a slow taper as his reaction to half the dose triggered his system too much... he is a delicate soul!

I can't imagine much will change with with his other needs, as reducing those sets him off too. I feel we have a happy medium and long may it continue. I know he feels great as he has become quite the pest at pill time this week and he is forever chasing Viktori. She can no longer control his wicked stalk and slap.
