One of the magpies put together, on a temporary stand.

Had some problem with the scales on the feet starting to slip so I’ve taped it until it dried and will rebuild what’s missing with epoxy.

Mr rook is now on a branch setting to dry, will need some finishing work but once that’s done he’ll be ready to fly off ...

I think rooks are overlooked out of our uk corvids, but the colours on them are so amazing under the right light!

Taxidermy magpie that I recently put together. Unfortunately during the skinning process a lot of the tail feathers came out so I had to individually put the missing ones back in. I think it came out nice regardless and once finishing work is done, he will but listed on the website 🤍
