Sorry for the late message everyone 🖤

We just wanted to let everybody know that Bruno has now had his meet & greet and everything went really well 🐾 We’re very pleased with how things went and are looking forward to seeing him continue settling in.

Teddy, however, is still extremely nervous and emotionally overwhelmed. He’s going to need a lot more time, patience, understanding, and gentle support before he’s ready to move forward.

Dogs all cope differently, especially after change, stress, and uncertainty. Some settle quickly, while others need much longer to feel safe and confident again — and that’s completely okay.

Please keep rooting for both boys 🖤🐾

🖤 MEET RODNEY 🖤

This gorgeous Standard Poodle has sadly found himself in the pound and, if unclaimed, he will be joining us on the 29th 🐾

At the moment we are starting to look for a potential foster home for Rodney so we can get him safely settled once he leaves the pound.

As always, we will know more about him over the coming days as assessments are carried out, but we wanted to get the word out early in case somebody may be able to help.

🏡 We are looking for:
🐾 A calm and committed foster home
🐾 Someone able to give him time to decompress
🐾 A secure garden
🐾 A family willing to work alongside rescue guidance while we assess his needs

Rodney deserves the chance to leave kennel life behind and start his next chapter safely 🖤

🚨 URGENT FOSTER APPEAL — TIME IS RUNNING OUT 🚨

📍 2 Year 10 Month Old Working Parson Russell Terrier

‼️ FOSTER HOME NEEDED BY SUNDAY ‼️

This little girl came into the vets to be put to sleep 💔

Instead, she has been given a chance.

Now we desperately need somebody to step forward and offer her a safe foster space before time runs out.

She is a typical terrier in many ways — intelligent, loyal, loving with people, full of character, and happiest when she has her own space and her own person 🖤

She is looking for:🐾 An ONLY DOG home🐾 No cats or small pets🐾 A calm, structured environment🐾 Someone experienced or dog-savvy🐾 A foster home willing to give her time, boundaries, and understanding

In her previous home, she struggled sharing space and toys with other dogs and could become involved in fights. When people attempted to separate the dogs, bites occurred in the chaos. Because of this, we strongly feel she will thrive best as the only pet in the home where she can properly relax and not feel the need to compete.

This is not a “bad” dog.This is a dog that simply needs the right setup.

With people she is described as affectionate, loving, and loyal, and we truly believe that once settled she will make somebody an incredible companion 🐾

She may suit:🏡 A quieter household🏡 Someone wanting a loyal best friend🏡 A home where she can have one-to-one attention and routine

🖤 RESCUE UPDATE & VOLUNTEER TEAM 🖤

I think honesty is always the best policy, and I want to be completely open with everybody.

This rescue has grown much bigger and much faster than I ever imagined. Up until now, the majority of it has just been me managing the day-to-day running of everything — the dogs, applications, transport, home checks, messages, fundraising, emergencies, and all the behind-the-scenes work that people often don’t see.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, but I also know that for this rescue to become everything it’s supposed to be, I need help — and I don’t mind admitting that.

So we are now starting to build a proper volunteer team to help support the rescue moving forward 🐾

We are looking at bringing in help with:
▪️ Admin
▪️ Home checks
▪️ Fundraising
▪️ Transport
▪️ Social media & supporter engagement
▪️ General rescue support behind the scenes

And honestly… I have been completely overwhelmed by the support already shown.

Thank you so much to every single person across Cheshire and Staffordshire who has stepped forward and offered to help this rescue. The kindness, encouragement, and willingness to support the dogs has genuinely meant the world to me.

What started as one person trying to help dogs has now become a community of people coming together for the same reason — to give dogs a second chance 🖤

Over the Bank Holiday weekend we’ll be going through everything properly, and after that we’ll begin contacting people individually. We will also likely arrange a Zoom call so everyone can understand the plans, roles, and direction moving forward.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing community behind this rescue.

🖤 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – COME JOIN OUR RESCUE TEAM 🖤

This rescue has grown far quicker than we ever imagined… and firstly, thank you.
To every supporter, adopter, foster, follower, fundraiser, and person who shares our dogs — you are the reason more dogs are being saved 🐾

Because of that growth, we are now at the stage where we urgently need to expand our volunteer team.

We already have lots of amazing Home Checker applications coming in, which is incredible to see 👏
But we are now also looking for people who may be able to help with:

▪️ Admin support
▪️ Applications & messages
▪️ Social media/admin tasks
▪️ Fundraising ideas
▪️ Transport coordination
▪️ General rescue support behind the scenes

You do NOT need to be “an expert.”
What matters most is reliability, kindness, common sense, and genuinely caring about animal welfare.

People often only see the dogs on the page…
but rescue runs on the people behind it too.

Without volunteers, foster homes, adopters, supporters, and followers — rescue simply does not function.

So if you’ve ever wanted to help make a difference, now is the perfect time to get involved 🖤

🚨 PLEASE SHARE – NALA NEEDS A NEW HOME 🚨

📍 3 Year Old Neutered Lurcher x Staffie
🐾 Name: Nala

This is one of those heartbreaking posts where nobody is the villain. 💔

Nala is a deeply loved family dog who has grown up in a caring home, but since the arrival of the family’s young son, life has changed dramatically for everyone involved.

Nala is described as:
❤️ Loving and affectionate
❤️ Fantastic with children
❤️ Great with other dogs
❤️ Previously lived happily with a cat
❤️ Neutered
❤️ Very people-focused and loyal

But she is also:
⚡ High energy
⚡ Very excitable and bouncy when showing affection
⚡ Strong and enthusiastic in the home

The family have been managing carefully, but with an 11-month-old now becoming mobile, they feel Nala deserves more freedom, attention, exercise, and one-to-one focus than they can currently give her.

This has clearly not been an easy decision. Nala remains very loved, very cared for, and will stay with her family until the right home is found. Please be kind. ❤️

🏡 What kind of home would suit Nala?

✔ Active home
✔ Someone wanting a fun, affectionate companion
✔ Ideally somebody home a lot
✔ Could potentially live with another friendly dog
✔ A home that understands energetic dogs and can continue giving her structure, exercise, and attention

🐾 NATIONAL RESCUE DOG DAY 🐾

Today is for the dogs nobody came for…
The ones abandoned, overlooked, unwanted, or failed by humans — until rescue stepped in. ❤️

It’s for the frightened dogs learning to trust again.
The older dogs waiting patiently for one last chance.
The “too much”, “too broken”, “too difficult” dogs who simply needed understanding, structure, and love.

And it’s for the people behind the scenes too…
The fosters.
The transporters.
The kennel staff.
The adopters.
The volunteers.
The rescuers who answer the phone at midnight because a dog needs help.

Rescue isn’t perfect.
It’s exhausting, emotional, expensive, and heartbreaking at times.
But every single dog sleeping safely tonight makes it worth it. 🐾

To every rescue dog out there — you mattered then, and you matter now.

🌸 MILO LEFT THE RESCUE TODAY TO START HIS NEW LIFE 🌸

And what a lovely send-off it was… milo and his new family present with some wonderful flowers 💐🐾

This gorgeous boy has now found himself a wonderful home right here in Congleton, where he’s got a future full of love, adventures, plenty of walks, and the happy life he truly deserves ❤️

Milo has been such a lovely lad, and seeing him walk off into his forever home is exactly why rescue matters.

We want to wish Milo and his new family all the happiness in the world. Thank you for giving this boy the fresh start he deserved 🐶🏡
