Hot weather, hot weather and a bit more hot weather 🤭🥵

It has been a month of early starts, getting out before the heat for all the pups! We have still managed to have so much fun 🤩

I’ve had the pleasure of looking after many cats this month too, some new faces who have been a pleasure to get to know 🐱

Wow what a week🥵

What better way to start the week than with puppy cuddles from beautiful little Pippa🐶

Then hit by torrential…and I mean torrential… rain ☔️

Found a loose dog, returned her home safe and sound🐶

Then the 3:30am alarm went off… ouch but starting the morning before anyone is awake is a beautiful thing ☀️

This week has been tough but I completely appreciate everyone for understanding and adjusting to the early walk times and changes through this week. The hot weather is just one of those things and unfortunately as much as I love it the pups do not… but everyone has been taken care of safely and sensibly this week and that’s something to be proud of 🫶🏼☀️🥵

The last couple weeks we have seen all seasons in one😱
We have quite literally gone from 5am starts and swapping walks for house visits due to the heat …. All the way to wearing my full winter coat and swimming through the fields rather than walking 🌧️🌧️🌧️

BUT we have had fun the whole way, just love all my doggos 🐶🐾

This week marked a special week for us, 5 years of Maddie Armstrong Pet Services 🐶🐾

We are so lucky to see all these beautiful faces each week and the many more over the last 5 years 🥰

Walking through all seasons this week, from wearing my winter coat in the rain on Tuesday to the early starts Friday due to heat☀️☔️🥵🤣
I started the week pet sitting the lovely Marvin and Milo… finishing it with the beautiful Henry and looking forward to our week together 🫶🏼

I have been waiting a long time to say this… SUMMER IS COMING ☀️☀️☀️

On a more serious note although we all (especially me) absolutely love the warm weather, the dogs do not and therefore the usual safety precautions will be put in place.

I will be doing early walks, swapping to house visits where required and there will be lots of water, woodlands and rest breaks😊

Thank you all for understanding and your cooperation with last minute changes due to hot weather 🐶🐾

The last 2 weeks has brought birthdays (happy birthday Monty 🎂), new clients first walks, super fun group walks and I’m super lucky to be spending this weekend having some pet sitting adventures with Marvin and Milo🐶🐾

There is nothing better than seeing dogs super comfortable and relaxed in my company whilst their owners enjoy time away 🐶
