These past couple of weeks have been the hardest emotionally since I started this job, I’ve had dogs pass, but I’ve been told after. This was different, I have only been caring for Chunk just over a year, but he became such an important part of my life. And when his family got the diagnosis he was very poorly, I knew that this would hit differently. I said my goodbye to him and sobbed. And every time I think of him I cry.
Chunk passed away peacefully with his family by his side last week 💔
He was such a special little guy and one that stole a piece of my heart 🩵🐾
