🍌 Banana
🥜 Xylitol-free peanut butter
🥥 Coconut yoghurt or milk

A fun, cooling treat your dog will love on sunny days ☀️

🍎🥕 Not all fruit & veg are safe for our dogs!

As the warmer weather arrives, many of us enjoy fresh fruit and healthy snacks — and it’s tempting to share them with our pets too. While some fruits and vegetables make great occasional treats, others can be harmful or even toxic to dogs.

✅ Safe options include blueberries, carrots, watermelon, bananas & green beans.
❌ Avoid grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, wild mushrooms & apple cores/pips.

Always introduce new foods slowly, and remember treats should only make up a small part of your dog’s diet. If you’re ever unsure, speak to your vet. 🐾

Dogs do not need long walks in high temperatures, and missing one afternoon or evening walk will not harm them. Early morning or later evening walks are much safer, and plenty of shade and fresh water are essential.

Please also remember:
🐶 Hot pavements can burn paws (5-second check, on the back of the hand)
💧 Always carry water
🚗 Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
🌳 Choose shaded areas where possible
